Hyped up to watch. Finished movie just now, and thought to myself that it was wasted potential. Casting was okay, but The two female actors that showed interest in the MC should have been switched, would have improved the film. Clearly some DEI choice, the movie centered around a politician, so looking at the hidden messaging in the film, you can instantly tell all the potential the film had, was wasted on purpose so they could turn it into a propaganda piece instead. It could have been great, unfortunately instead will leave you feeling disappointed when the credits roll. What a waste, i was excited and everything. On a positive note, hated Patterson as an actor, but he nailed this role. Guess he was a good actor all along and all he's had are bad roles. First time I've been impressed by him. I'd like to see him in more roles like this in the future. Maybe an action comedy next.

Let me start off by saying that, I would watch a movie about a cat regardless of the circumstances. I love cats, This All about the Cat. Eyes on the cat.

Nothing matters here, the cat carried the whole film. Best actor on screen at anytime was the cat, stellar performance by the cat. Everything else is meh, couple seconds of cameo by a real actor here n there. Really the cat was the star. All the movie posters should have been him.

This movie is basically just a cookie cutter Rip off of the previous 2 films. Y'all have to be quiet. These people are gonna die. These other people are gonna die. This Person's gonna sacrifice themselves, So this person can survive. It's all about getting the cat from point A to point B. Nothing can happen to the cat. The cat has plot armor. By God, if you hurt the cat, we will all stop watching that instant. Period. The end.

If you remove the cat from the film, what's left is trash, An over hyped lie that we were sold. Watch it anyway, do it for the cat.

Besides some gore I don't think we've had till now. It's true to the original vibe. The CG animation was actually true to the original style of mixing animation methods within the story. Don't know why anyone would be surprised or dislike it. One of FLCL's best known traits is the illogical mixing of styles. This is merely the natural progression of that. Maybe one day an episode's action scene might break out into a mind melting 'claymation' fight scene, which wud be badass, it's FLCL expect it to be wild. We get to see Haruka up to no good, in a few different disguises along the way, lookin for Atomsk. Obviously with no regard for anyone else's safety. Up rooting the lives of others and civilian casualties with her antics is part of her M. O. But this time around, heads will roll for real. As she snakes her way into a leadership role of a yakuza style gang.

It's actually a good bit of story packed into 3 episodes, especially when considering they still managed to give some backstory to the motivations of the 3 new main characters. It fits well into franchise's long plot. Give it a watch along the way thru the series. It's short anyways, 3 enjoyable episodes. I personally recommend watching all of FLCL in chronological order instead of release order. It will make more sense that way. Especially with shoegaze coming next week. Not that FLCL should ever truly make sense, that's the point I guess.
