The costumes are freakishly bad, the acting weak, the plot a watered down rehash, but there's enough good jokes in the same vein of Sean of the Dead to be worth watching this movie.

If the movie had abandoned efforts to be a horror movie and just stuck with the comedy this would have been a great movie actually. It's when it pretends to be serious that you start to yawn and thinking the parts worth watching are over then comes another batch of laughs, but only enough to keep you going to the end.

So it's well worth watching, especially if you liked Shaun of the dead. As a horror movie keep on going. This is a T as in trash it not even worthy of being a B or C flick in terms of horror.

It's a B flick horror movie. I usually give them 10 minutes and move on to something else. The plot isn't very new, the special effects were very sub par but you can't help but see what happens next.

If it were not for so many plot holes such as a whole rural community and only the cops bring guns kind of goofs, I'd rate this higher.

The movie makes it all interesting and fun. Not something many B flick horror movies can hope for much less actually accomplish.

Don't go in expecting to be terrified or top end special effects or big surprises. The movie is predictable, and builds interest not body counts. Not that I have anything against body counts. Just in this movie it'd been a distraction and the director realized this. The acting, camera work, soundtrack and such all actually good or better except special effects.

Just sit back and enjoy a decent movie if you are a horror fan.

Yes this is a low budget movie so you don't have anybody doing ninja jumps from flaming cars while spinning hula hoops on both arms.

You do not need garbage like that with a well done movie like this one. The main actors do more than well enough and some of them are extremely good. The lead actor in particular. I can't see his name while in the review, but he did a great acting job.

The movie also keeps you wondering in a good way. I won't spoil the suspense but soon as you think you have it, then you doubt it, then you think oh yeah, then you wonder.

The ending was rushed and not so realistic or I'd given this movie a 10.

Warning this is a dark movie about a deeply troubling subject. A child is abducted at the start of the movie. This might be a trigger for some people and it does get worse.

There are times the acting from supporting actors is not as convincing as you'd like. The camera work is clearly from an older lower cost camera set up. None of that really matters. This movie beats anything to come out of Hollywood in a long time in spite of it's budget limitations and perhaps in part because they had to use real plot and suspense instead of cinematic junk food. Whatever the case, this movie will grab you and you can't help but get caught up in the intensity and raw emotions involved.
