Let's cut to the chase. Gyllenhaal can act and he can deliver, sometimes over deliver, but he does his stuff pretty well.

However, this horribly casted TV Show has nothing much to offer besides him. A whodoneit can keep audiences occupied till the end - we know this. But when it comes to keeping the audience occupied throughout the journey, this TV Show falls flat.

The side plots are dreadful. This show also makes a point that for anything and everything that happens in your life, even when you feel and look great, the reason is - therapy. Freud would call this his victory run. But the way things appear are nothing else but cringeworthy.

The actress who plays the wife has one or the poorest acting skills or maybe she is a great overacting actor. Although it's great to cast black actors, at least cast them for their abilities, not for the heck of their skin color. The judge was a great supporting actress, prudent, straight, and sharp toned.

Nevertheless, this show is watchable with the forward button on your fingertips. Skip all the cringeworthy melodramatic nonsense and you would've a decent, yet unbelievable and unrealistic, courtroom drama to watch.

Throw in billions and trillions of dollar maths. Create an atmosphere of unmatched arroange. Throw in some tall blondes for spice. Ensure dialogues are so childlike that even children would find offensive. Then top it up with fake ambition. That's just what Landman is.

If you can stand 10mins of this 21st century film making, then you surely are the audience these kinda mindless, sensationalized, cringeworthy, TV shows bring to masses.

Oh and did I forgot about Netflix's production value. There just something about it which is unmatched. Substandard, hideously hateful, and disgusting are the only adjectives to define it.

Let Landman rest where it should, in a long forgotten abandoned oil drill somewhere in Texas.

Let's get to the point. Cuckoo tried every single trick out there to make a movie good. 2024 artsy nature, 70s and 80s vehicles to telephones, horror hotel (resort), teenage tantrums, heck even a woman in a raincoat - can you beat that?. But it fails left right centre to deliver anything right.

The story and concept are so miserable that after watching this crap show you would start questioning your own sanity. Acting is on another level with absolutely no delivery. Direction is... well, in today's world a creepy man eyes a teenager and the teenager engages with a smile - tell you everything one needs to know about the Director's direction level.

I actually want my time back after wasting Sunday watching this hellhole.
