I love how they have developed his character through the walking dead, and how the keep doing that in the series Daryl Dixon. He is a man who came out as a better man from the apocalypse. He is well grounded, kind, good-hearted and knows his priorities. And he does what it takes to stand up for himself and those he protect. He has depth. Also I love the European take on this sequel. Have seen Dead city with the New York theme, New York being a city with a strong character itself, gives the quite worn out content new life. So does the European theme in Daryl's story. They capture the culture, the history, the people and the nature in a way that gives the series a whole new depth. Daryl fits right in here and his character grows with it. Well done!

Okay, I've reviewed the series before and defended it on the grounds that you have to take it for what it is, but I need to get some things off my chest now. In Sex and the City, Charlotte was a delicate and vulnerable person, with a set of values that could feel... old-fashioned. But her inner strength would emerge when needed, and she showed courage, loyalty, and resilience. Carrie has always been scatterbrained, insecure, and eager to live up to an image that makes her feel worthy. She struggled with honesty and sometimes came across as fake. But she also had a heart of gold, was smart, funny, and incredibly likeable. Miranda had great integrity, was intelligent, and funny in a dry way-arguably the funniest of them all-and she didn't take crap from anyone.

I have to agree with many of the other reviewers when it comes to character development. Charlotte has turned into a rather silly figure who seems to have lost all depth. Miranda has lost all integrity. Carrie is the only one who still feels more or less like herself from SATC. And that's often how it is-you don't really change that much just because you age, something younger people seem to believe. Even when you're older, you still want to lie in bed all day with your lover, wear stylish clothes and high heels, joke about things, and have fun in general! You'll see for yourselves that not much changes in terms of desire and zest for life just because you get older.

As for Carrie, maybe we would've hoped that over the years she'd become a bit more secure in herself and retained more of her quick wit. When it comes to Charlotte and Miranda, they've essentially been rewritten into entirely new characters. I don't really care about the new sidekicks-they can be however they want-but to me, Seema is the only one who actually adds something to the show... But I'll keep watching as long as I get glimpses of SATC.

Give me a break. Why do you hate this show so much? Watch things you're actually interested in. This isn't Dekalog or The Wire! This is a light-hearted comedy with fashion and interior design as eye candy. The dialogue is snappy, funny things happen, and for once, the everyday lives of older women are portrayed. Sure, they live privileged lives and can be superficial at times - but so what? It's a TV show! And if, like me, you enjoyed Sex and the City, it's lovely to be able to continue following the characters' lives. Of course the show isn't exactly like SATC - we all change with age. Interests shift, priorities change, bodies change. Samantha is missed. Appreciate what's good about And Just Like That, and if it's not your thing, just stop watching - but above all: stop reviewing!
