#sitaarezameenpar movie review - Its an absolute Aamir Khan show that tugs at your heartstrings. The story has no twist or turns & at times, sounds slow paced but when you get used to its narrative style, it is a perfect blend of laughter and tears with a message of kindness and understanding that everybody's normal is different.
The entire cast shines, and the music is just right for its genre!
Comparing it to Taare Zameen par is not right because the basic tone is comedy and not pure social drama.
Must-watch for everyone who loves clean & family oriented cinema.
The sequences involving his Mom are absolutely hillarious, ones with the sitaare's are naughty, while the ones involving his wife are genuinely sweet.
Its specially towards the end that you realise why Aamir Khan is respected as a master of his craft. Hats off.
Ready to watch it again.

THE DIPLOMAT (Hindi/ John Abraham) is a beautiful movie. Do watch for its heartening performances, measured direction that never goes over the top and patriotic undertones. Keeps you hooked all the way.
Probably not as an actor, but as a producer, John Abraham seems to be having a knack of choosing the right story lines. Within this, the girl Sadiya Plus Kumud Mishra + Hashmi have done fantastic job. Couldn't ask for a better movie for a great weekend binge.
This kind of movies are very re assuring that Bollywood still has hope.
The story is about an Indian girl being taken to Pakistan on deception and being married forcefully and assaulted sexually. What the Indian embassy in Pakistan does to get her back to India forms the basis of the story line.
No songs induced or thrusted make it still a better watch.
Shivam Nair is a pro at political thrillers and this is just a good culmination of all his experience.

Wached it for Madhvan, but what an absolute waste. Childish style of story telling. Madhavan's honesty is the only saving grace.
The movie stops being entertaining beyond the first half an hour till they are establishing Madhavan character and the plot unveils. The masala movie treatment of realistic plot with honest intentions of actors is absolutely cringe worthy. All the other characters beyond Madhavan are mere caricatures, specially Neil Nitin Mukesh was looking like a joker right through. Songs are just for effect too.
I only wish Madhavan and the cast were used for a more honest effort of story telling.
For Madhavan, I will rather watch The Railway Man once again.
