The initial ~45 mins is the setup and it's what kept me engaged (I'd say excited).
The violent Hiranyakasapa goes to sleep mode past that, literally I felt where did he go.
Then comes the story, which is beautiful, calm and real.
Although the songs were not dubbed properly, the animation overshadows the lip sync and voice over.
Few songs felt unnecessary (strictly my opinion).
The Varahi episode is the first goosebumps movement, and the the other is the climax.
The story has no complaints as it's original and it out ancient history.
Maybe because of unknown things, the story has lacked grippingness (unlike other hombale screenplays).
Felt flat for nearly 1:30 mns, with repetition.
Nevertheless, it's a great watch for Kids.
Good for people who love cinematic Story telling.
Nice for Once I want to watch a good mythological movie.
Okay for anime watchers and screenplay lovers.

There are many movies with the concept
But 23 stands out as a unique story Telling.
Writing is the heart and then the female lead.
Never any over expression, can watch her screen presence all long.
Male lead becomes actor by the end.
Director has a great vision and it never deviate - that's the best part.
JUST WATCH IT!!!
EXPERIENCE IS GREAT.
There are 100 things to like about and i just said 2/3,,,
Many characters are well written, Just don't understand where the director got them, but there is no scene where someone irritates or dragged unnecessarily.
Crisp screenplay and dialogues...

Firstly, appreciation for the director on handling the script the way it should be handled.
The drama carried out between the characters was built near and no hurry there, no time wasted for songs or forcing a character arc.
It's simple yet, conveys.
Reason for my opinion, is the expectation of watching guruji and gowtham on screen together.
Gowtham has carried the charisma from Manu, calm and mature.
Thought how the supporting cast would react on their way to the situations but it's a different approach from kanakala and Sampath.
Till the end of first half, I was guessing the obvious and I'm right but the interval changed it and I cannot guess after.
Guess, it's what kept me watch the end.
Pre climax, again becomes predictable but you can accept it once spent the time till you get there.
Fine, it's a sensitive concept, that was handled rightly, I'd suggest it for a Saturday afternoon with lunch.
