I managed to sit through most of this- it's definitely NOT the worst movie I've ever seen, and I doubt it's the worst for the other reviewers here who claim it is , either. Sure, it's not the greatest and but it did have a nice little twist at the end. It's the type of film you watch and instantly forget. I have no idea why people get so worked up about it.
Did everyone miss the crooked female agent who deliberately delays the police and that's why they arrive so late?
I don't over analyse special effects when I watch a movie. I have no idea if the CGI was bad - I'm not that interested. It's sort of in one eye and out the other, so to speak. Lol The bad guys were dreadful though, have to give them that. Thankfully it never dragged on and was a nice hour and a half.

This is a self indulgent mess. The best part, thankfully, was that it wasn't too long, and in fact, ends rather abruptly in my humble opinion. You're still waiting for something to happen. Alas, nothing ever does.
Are we to believe that they spend the rest of their lives on that island? At least she has her own home-grown stash - I think she was smoking most of it when they wrote this garbage.
I think Ed Harris must secretly be related to one of them , there can be no other explanation for him appearing in this drivel.
The brother put on a good show and I'm sure I recognise the sister from somewhere.
This movie, which seems to be family effort, is a good example of what to get away from.

This movie is an example of why there is no such thing as a date night with dinner and a movie any more. 2 and a half hours and counting... Granted, it seems to be the trend, but who has 5+ hours in the evening to spare? These films are killing movie theatres.
Anyway, I watched this at home, and still I was distracted and bored in places. As a kid my parents used to drag us to musicals and I always hated them. Just when things are getting interesting they burst into song, I mostly never could understand what they were singing, and nothing has changed. This is as opposed to stage musicals which I love. The two leads, were, however, impressive enough with their vocals. The supporting cast never really featured much, but weren't cast for their vocals I gather.
Jeff Goldblum seemed a little less creepy than usual and as for Jonathan Bailey - I can't see him without images of those graphic sex scenes from that gay TV series he was in flashing before my eyes.
Prince Charming indeed.
