It seems most people know this film is rubbish, so I will only add that I am surprised this film made it onto screen in the first place.
The fault must come down to the producers. A lot of film companies are given government grants and tax breaks if they adhere to certain requirements, namely have a diverse cast no matter what the setting (unless you are making a diverse film, and so can get rid of any white characters and still get the money). But did anyone think that the country was anything like this?
The writers are also to blame. Perhaps there was a good story at the start, and then someone said, no, get rid of the quality and put in propaganda instead.
Finally, the actors need to start calling this out. If this film was set in India or Nigeria and had the same cast, I bet the white actors would have said it wasnt realistic to have them in the film.
Dont waste your time on this rubbish.

An interesting idea, but boy did the female step sister character stink. I get it, we must obey the modern mantra that white men are bad, but this is meant to be a comedy series. I dont need some whiny woman to point out that certain people might be offended. And this feels like it happens in every single show. Just make a comedy that we know is going to upset someone and say We Dont Care.
The best bits are the bits without the step sister, that should tell you everything you need to know. Its not that shes a bad actress, its just that she's been badly written. We are going down the route of all the other tv shows, and its boring.

Make that truly, truly, awful. The most egregious thing about this movie is that it is boring. Part of that is down to the fact that it is too long. But the major issue is that no one knows whats going on, The main characters are after something, but who cares. They might be stopped by...bad people, but who cares. They had to get it before...who cares? And no one cares about the characters. Indy is a sad sack throughout. Big nose is just insufferable. Its no surprise you end up rooting for the Nazi in this film. This is just an absolute waste of half a billion dollars. Worse, disney have yet again taken a well loved character and taken a giant dump on him. Shame on the writers, the producers and even the actors in this coffin of mediocrity.
