I watch mostly highly thought of mystery shows, so my expectations are elevated. So while this one was certainly of interest, I thought it mundane and slow. The final solution was also not quite as sophisticated as others have been.

More than the case is Tempest's efforts to follow his therapist's advice concerning the opposite sex. He has no social skills and is so academically inclined that he is utterly boring.

The business with the oysters is really quite a hoot.

It always bothers me that so many innocent people are shot in cold blood. It might be a bank teller, a guy on an elevator, a clerk at a hotel. Roman and his buddies just walk in, shoot to kill, and move on.

When Jane hesitates to do harm to him, she needs to think of all the poor people he has killed, not just those who are in defense jobs, but who just happen to be standing around.

Of course, his being is all but supernatural, as I've said before. So the gauntlet has been thrown down and we head off to the finals.
