Although, I'm not a major South Park fan, I found this movie to be very funny, and often hilarious. It's probably the most obscene, adult cartoon I've seen since "Heavy Metal". It's sure to offend a great many people, but hopefully those people will take a close look at the movie, and see the somewhat serious message it's trying to make.
After viewing the DVD version of Radioheads new documentary, I still don't know anything about them, except that one of the members doesn't like to be interviewed by the press because he comes across as stupid. I think that "OK Computer" and "The Bends" are two of the best albums I have ever heard, but not one single song is heard in its entirety in this movie. As a fan, there isn't much to enjoy here. It's even hard to hear the members speak because there is always a lot of background noise happening. The only people I can see really enjoying this movie are MTV obsessed teenage girls who just like to see the band and don't care about the music or what the band has to say. My rating: 5 out of 10.
Very enjoyable Eagles concert, featuring many of their greatest hits, such as "Hotel California", "Life in the Fast Lane", and "Take it Easy". The opening documentary is interesting, but not very informative. My only complaint is that the concert isn't shown in it's entirety as it was performed, as several of the songs are presented out of sequence. So instead of getting an actual feeling of "being there", it feels more like watching a series of music videos. Still, the material holds up and still sounds great. My rating: 8 out of 10.
