Off the heal of perfect "Informed Consent' episode directed by Laur Innes from "ER" fame, this is the best one-two punch since the end of season 1. It starts with a "scream" and never lets up.
The writing team must have had a blast packing as much humour, quirk, philosophy, drama, perspeftive, twist, realism, satire, seriousness mixed with lightness. It had the most laugh-out-loud moments in all House shows, with crisp directing and deadpan acting comedic timing. It managed to weave in a deliciious and unexpected conclusion for the arc of a teenage admirer--possibly from Icelandic decent:)--and end with a high emotion and commentary on perceived and subjective happiness and connection
An ode to the unconventional and embracing the socially misunderstood with smarts, sarcasm and soul.

Fluffy has less flair than usual here wirh a nostalgic take and lots of talking. A few of the jokes are hilarious and some voice imitations on point but many are neutral, flat or predictable. Still, the charisma and craft is there. The writing could have simply been better and tighter.
A bit too much about the past or jokes too specific to Florida. The best part is the long house robbery and gun salesman with a few oyher highlights and laughs.
The advice about being grateful to simply be alivr is well placed although the reat is hardly happiness therapy. Some commenters complain it is too much of a Ted Talk and he mentions it in the show. I have nothing against Ted Talks and some are even quit funny, entertaining and informative. The problem here is that amazing comedians or comedic routine would make these points with humour and also mostly better punchlines.
The show also did not end on a high point and could have given more or be better edited. Still worth a watch for aome laughs.

Boy Meets Girl casts a recurring actor to play Alexandre, the protoganist who is the namesake of the young writer/director's real name, and Mireille as a cinematic version of herfself, the then girlfriend of director (pseudonym Leos Carax). This is an ingenious indie debut feature film with a flair for visual style (cinematography from Jean-Yves Escoffier) and beautiful use of black and white.
The.story is a love story but finds many ways to make it less dramatic and tragic with comedy, poetry and philosophy. The dialogues and monologues are crisp. Perhaps the greateat strenght of the.screenplay, yet the silent momemts, music and movement also conterbalance the heavy reflections on art, war, friendship, life and love.
A.gentle mix of video, music, dance, signing, poetry, metacognition and metaphysics with contemplative pacing and editing. Few films achieve this and eapecially om the first try for a film writer/director immense joy to watch. Expect European slower shots and French New Wave style if you are use the US constant drama and movement.
