The triple narrative of Traffic works well providing an insight into the drug culture that lives around us. Soderburgh's unique way of capturing the events in three places using colours: yellow for Mexico, Blue for Michael Douglas' story and normal colours for Don Cheadle's story.

I am a big fan of Soderburgh's work: my favourites being Kafka and The Limey. Both are originally in approach using experimental techniques to capture nice visuals.

The usefulness about having multi-narrative is that you never seem to get bored it is always switching.There were times however when I got abit confused about hat was happening.

Great acting by Benecio Del Toro, Don Cheadle and surprisingly Catherine Zeta Jones who puts in a great performance.

If you want a really interesting journey into what is going on in the world concerning drugs watch this. If you want to see a film with guns and drugs dont watch this. 8/10

This film is such a pleasure to watch. The whole idea of the low key drama set in LA works perfectly. Soderbergh creates a whole new way of vision which is exciting and slightly disturbing e.g the flash-backs and the flash-forwards. There are alot of silent shots of Stamp doing normal things:- unpacking, smoking etc. It is eerie.

The story itself is a simple one of revenge which Stamp goes all out a produces an excellent performance. Peter Fonda is a great villan who Stamp takes revenge upon. Luiz Guzman is also good in his role of aid to Stamp.

My favourite part of the movie is when Stamp goes to the warehouse to find Terry (Peter Fonda). Prior to this there are excellent visuals of him walking to the warehouse: they really show the plus points of having Stamp in a movie. The whole sequence is wonderful- even the decking he recieves is done stylishly well.

Go rent/buy this film . Just be patient and get used to the style of the film and you will not be sorry. 9/10

The Thomas Crown Affair excels in being far better than the original. The camera-work, directing, music, acting. Almost everything about it has been pushed up at leat a notch from the 60's version.

Casting Brosnan in the lead was a good idea, though he does seem to effortlessly move through the film. Almost a James Bond like character without the gun. Russo shines as the insurance investigator sent to trap Mr Crown(Brosnan) using her charm and her lovely figure. I think this role is perfect for her: she is so suductive and sexy.

As a male i loved it. My Girlfriend however thought it was only quite good. My comments through the film probably didn't really help (mostly on Russo). And the sex scene certainly caught my attention. It is the first sex scene McTiernan has done.

The script was witty, but what impressed me was the superb choice of shots McTiernan used:- the smoothness of the it all, the way everything ran perfectly. It suited it very well. Music was also great by Bill Conti it captured the essence of the glossy thriller.

Watch The Thomas Crown Affair then watch the original and make up your mind. I think you will agree with my points. Fabulous film making 10/10
