iXe, a young hip-hop writer, has close friends who all believe in his talent. An old hip-hop star and his beautiful ex-girlfriend are trying to assemble a show but he just fired his lead hip-hop writer. Those are meant to met, but its not that simple. On one side, the street has its rules and at every time somebody could pay the price. On the other side, the music industry is full of stereotypes and iXe has difficulties to deal with it.
You already seen this story, its not the most original scenario (remember 8-miles) but there's something with it. The actors all performed well. Some good lyrics ... at least in the french version.

This is a strange movie. It shows the Death as a lone character with human feelings. But above all, it shows a very powerful love for a father to his son. This movie lacks the consistency of a great one, but it is very well-inspired in its own kind. And the Death ask the man to do a cartoon that seems pretty good !
I remember what I feel seeing Seven. Once again, Fincher touches us with a delightful insane movie. Protagonists have their own moral codes ! One can not agree, but we can feel and understand their distress. I think it's not a Fascism/Nationalism apology, it's a warning. And it touches you, because none of the characters are really disgusting and insane. It could be you with the suitable meeting ! Once again, Fincher proves is masterliness to handle the camera. There is a rhythm, a tone, that fits to nobody else. And for the depressive ones, it is much funnier than Seven !
