Given to the fact that this is a low-budget film I must admit I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it at a private screening. It's humorous, witty and well crafted. Perhaps Mr. Einarsson should remake it someday into a feature. Who knows. It's a winner! The director has obviously learned a great deal of film-making since his debut hit the cinemas three years ago and he has become a more focused storyteller. He knows that a good story is essential for a film of this particular genre and he doesn't spend too much time in worrying about the details, which has it pros and cons, obviously. The cinematography is at a time flawed but good editing and sound design along with good casting make up for it. I hope to see more films from Mr. Einarsson in the future.

Hrafn Gunnlaugsson has for many years considered himself as an artist (even though some might disagree) and has now visualized how Iceland´s capital might look if he had anything to say. Well, the idea is not bad,and in some cases his ideas are interesting, but sadly, the film can´t measure up because of poor visual effects and the author quite monotonic narration.

This is the laimest production in the Icelandic film history. It's so bad that it makes you wonder if the filmakers should make movies at all. The screenplay is so bad, that instead of being interesting, it's hillarious. It´s incredible that a grown man could ever come up with something as stupid as the the screnplay is; The plot dosen´t hold water, and it's obvious that the plot has gone without a trace. The director dosen't seem to know much about film making. The actors seem to be embarreshed, and the film's score is completly out of sync and it´s very poorly written. In short: Be warned.
