Twelve Dates 'Til Christmas

I was honestly relieved they gave us scenery other than British Columbia or Toronto and happy to see some UK filming. Jane Seymour makes this worth watching and her storyline enjoyable. I feel like Mae Whitman is filling the "Bridget Jones" role here with the fun quirky friends and her plus size body. I was really liking it until episode 2 with the whole girl-girl storyline at the Dickens ball. If this were Netflix it wouldn't be a shock, but come on people this is Hallmark and I expect keeping it boy-girl.

Surprised this is below a 6. This should be at a 7+ cause for the genre (hallmark style Christmas movies/shows) this is really enjoyable and fun. It's not just about romantic love- it's also about self love and discovery, forgiveness, family, etc. All mixed in with some funny dialogue and bad dates. Mae is the best as always (if you haven't seen Good Girls by the way watch it) but the whole cast is great. Of course it's predictable in terms of who she will most likely end up with (waiting on last two episodes). Of course there is also some misunderstanding or silly reason why they aren't already together but it's still fun and characters are mostly well written. Check it out for yourself!

I've only seen the first episode of The Twelve Dates 'Til Christmas so far, but it really pulled me in. The setup in Blexford feels cozy and lived-in, and the "12 Dates" concept is a fun twist on the usual Hallmark-style holiday romance.

Mae Whitman is the standout. She makes Kate instantly likable-awkward, funny, and caring without feeling over-the-top. The scenes with her dad already give the story some emotional weight, and I'm curious to see how both his arc and the matchmaking storyline develop.

This mini-series feels engaging, warm, and a little different from the standard Christmas movie formula. I'm looking forward to seeing where the next dates take her.

I'm 30 minutes in into episode one and already I'm hooked!!! I am kind of picky when it comes to stuff and for a holiday show this is delightful. It is refreshing to see a plus size realistic woman be the heroine! Mae Whitman is absolutely perfection and the rest of the cast really adds to the story. Please Hallmark use Mae Whitman more and tell more stories like this!

I like very much. It deserves be appreciated. But the last episode offers some reserves. Sure, the world of a village, some touches of BBC productions, good doses of soap opera and Hallmark and Mae Whitman fighting, with succes, against some cliches , not so inspired cllothes, complications of story - for six episodes - plots and waste of time and fugitive characters and the old message about old friend as chosen. I saw the series for Jane Seymour and her presence reminding me the passing time. I admired Mae Withman and I am convinced than the series is her at whole - not only for leading role - but I feeled, in last episode, full fatigue of story and too convensional solutions as refuge.

A nice Christmas series . It is all what real matters.
