I wasn't expecting much from this, but have to admit I was pleasantly surprised how fun and entertaining this was. A little slow at first but rapidly picked up steam. The last 30 minutes was really good. Led by the always reliable British actor Simon Phillips as leader of a gang who just robbed a bank and are hiding out in a motel on Christmas Eve. Little do they know that a bunch a female Vampires are also staying there. Sort of a clever scenario with some comedy elements make this totally watchable which is more than I can say about many other recent theatrical releases. The acting with some of the supporting players may not be up to standards because of the low budget, but it somehow all seems to work here anyway.
The only excuse to use such a lame title as "Silent Bites" for a vampire-flick that takes place around Christmas, is when it's some hilarious horror-comedy. Well, it's not even close. It's a very bad acted, non scary, tedious, and extremely unfunny failure. They tried to mirror "From Dusk 'Till Dawn" (a bunch of bankrobbers takes refuge in a hotel, only to find out that it's invested by dangerous vampires), but they couldn't even fill the tips of those iconic shoes. The characters are all equally uninspiring, the dialogues are terrible, the special effects (if any) are amateurish, and the story itself is totally insipid. It's like watching a very bad 1960's wannabe horror flick. The only thing remotely endurable was the Prancer-character, but mostly because Luke Avoledo was so endearingly cute.
It's hard to fathom why producers come up with such lame projects, who do they think to pleasure with it?! Of course a low budget doesn't help to make a top movie, but it neither should be an excuse to settle for this kind of uninspired rubbish.

It is Christmas Eve. Five criminals in Christmas costumes have robbed a bank. Four of them arrive at a roadside motel to get a room. Unbeknownst to them, there are beautiful women holding a girl captive in the hotel and they are vampires.
This starts on the wrong foot. It doesn't make sense that these criminals dressed in their costumes are booking a room while brazenly waving their guns. At that moment, I realized that form is more important than substance for this one. Obviously, somebody had the brilliant idea of Christmas characters going against vampires. Almost as obvious, those people did not think it all the way through.

OK if someone had only $1000 to make a Xmas movie with vampires in it then this movie would be it!
The so called gang are suppose to be in a hideout where they are waiting on their ticket to get out of the motel bar!
The characters of the gang are dull and you dont care if they all die because they are so unlikable.
So the gang are facing vampires who cant act for toffee! I do wonder if some of the cast have actually done any drama lessons in this life?
Overall the movie is a massive turkey of boredom and your usual horror cliches you find in these kind of movies.
Is this worth watching at all?
No its awful and very forgettable in truth.
1/10 Dont bother this movie sucks!

"Silent Bite" is a very low budget vampire flick with engaging characters, enjoyable story (which I found) and the plot was some what funny as the film went on. The script was made for comedy sense since I laughed in some parts and the comedy most of the cast brought just made the film so much better. And who doesn't love a cheeky cheesy vampire flick?
Theses group of "guys" hiding out at a motel in Santa costumes from pulling a bank heist, but what they did not know was they got lured there by purpose to be fed to theses crazy ASS VAMPIRE WOMEN! Like it's so dumb and cheesy but it just worked along with the funny British comedy that Simon Phillips brought and same goes for Nick Biskupek since he also had some funny ass lines!
As for the characters, well there isn't much to talk about here since this film didn't show any backstory of them besides Blake's a little bit. I did love Simon Phillips and Nick Biskupek's characters since they carried most of the film for me! The other characters were alright since they did their parts well, just to me they were kind of meh compared to those 2 that I just said!
For a dumb, cheesy and pretty low budget of a film, the cast did a great job in bringing not only enjoyable performances but engaging and funny performances as well. Theses guys should try get into more higher budget films especially Simon Phillips and Nick Biskupek! Since theses 2 have talent and I think they'll do good!
Overall "Silent Bite" is a pretty chill and enjoyable low budget vampire flick. With engaging characters, cheesy/dumb story that is enjoyable and the cast brought a solid performance! Who doesn't love a cheesy low budget vampire flick?
