Story - Fresh & new, engaging, entertaining.

Characters - Quite good.

Making - Great.

They showed a different way of time travelling which is quite good. As a fan of time travel genre, I would say the story has some solid fresh elements. Not to mention, no such work in Bangladesh took place till date. The time loop was perfect, although time traveling was not. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Yet, it has several plotholes-

1. Time travel idea with dead body's blood was wrong. Any living person's DNA has the information of the events they witnessed. Their own body possess the information of that speicific day in the past. Therefore taking blood of that dead girl is unnecessary. Let aside taking blood from a dead animal full of germs.

2. Chanchal's character lives in a rented house. How can you build such a tunnel and a secret lab in a rented apartment? What about the landlord? How did you manage to get the space to build such spacious secret place?

3. What about the time travel in 1960s? They need their own body to travel in the past. The cannot do it in any way with this time travelling method.

The best part of the Kaalpurush web series is its technical aspect. In telling this kind of complex story, various technical aspects have to be advanced, in terms of editing, differences have to be brought. By doing this, Kaalpurush takes his audience on a roller coaster ride at various thrilling moments of the story.

Although the story of the web series proceeds linearly, I went to a place that aroused my interest. At the very beginning of the story, the police discover the extramarital affair of a married man with a woman, who was murdered in a park in Dhanmondi. It all takes a different turn when it reveals a horrible truth. When the police went to the home of the married suspect for questioning, they were shown two pictures hanging on the wall. One of these pictures is Pattachitra.

A Muslim saint is seen riding a tiger in the Pattachitra image, which is less than a second into Kaalpurush. The one riding the tiger is Ghazi Pir, a Muslim saint born in West Bengal four hundred years ago. Everyone knew him as Gazi Baba or Gazi Pir. Interestingly, in the web series 'Karagar' released from Hoichoi, propaganda is spread about a person who suddenly emerges from prison and he has returned after the death of a great saint. There too he was introduced as a saint by the name of Gazi Pir.

Gazi Pir of Pattachitra married the daughter of a Hindu king in his personal life. Also seen in the Kaalpurush web series, the girl who has an illicit affair with the main suspect and has a horrible result, is a Hindu girl. Such a coincidental story matching with Patachitra intrigues me immensely.

Time travel is interpreted differently in the web series. Time travel has been shown to jog memories. This explanation is quite interesting. Because the bright stars we see in the night sky may have died hundreds of years ago. The light they shed on Earth hundreds of years ago has been here for so many years. So what we see in the sky today is actually a kind of memory of the stars.

So the police SI Mirage's attempt to go into the past to find the real killer of the murdered girl in the Kaalpurush story is like traveling through one's own memory.

However, some problems remain. Once shown, the caretaker was murdered before the girl was murdered, as the corpse suggests. But as seen later, that did not happen. Or even after being involved in such a big event, why does the protagonist not remember it in any way? There is no answer to that. There is also no indication as to why SI Mirage's assistant considers him a rival.

But the best aspect of Kaalpurush web series was its BGM. This background music, which suddenly starts whenever the mystery of the story thickens, takes the audience to another world. The colour of the web series in particular was quite mysterious. The connection between the two songs was even better.

I heard that this is Salzar Rahman's first web series. Film Syndicate's new work. All in all a pretty good experience. If the series becomes a franchise, it will be more popular.

A good but weird watch. A lot of wasted potential though, it could have been much better.

Pros: 1. Unique story with time travel.

2. Cinematography is visually stunning.

3. The suspense buildup and the mystery.

4. The payoff and ending was good.

5. Wrapped up the story well and also left some new possibilities open for a possible season 2.

Cons: 1. Very slow paced and dragged it needlessly.

2. The dialogues felt lame and weird often times.

3. There were some parts and themes that felt unnecessary. Perhaps they were only included for the shock factor, but in my opinion it would have been better without them.

4. Was hard to connect with the characters and feel for them.

5. Some parts, explanations, plots, characters, executions felt bizarre and not in a good way.

Overall, if you're a fan of the mystery/suspense genre and don't mind something slow, give it a shot. Keep it mind that it has some sexual/gross/weird stuffs that could be uncomfortable for some viewers.

First of all, hats of to Nayeem for his dedication for the role.

It's rare in the this industry.

Secondly, appreciation for the syndicate production team for making this, time travel concept is bangla series.

Undoubtedly, this is so good. It is recommended to everyone.

Good thing about the series is the plot twist, camera work, and transitional interrogation.

One major lackings is episode ending.

Episode should end with a suspens or plot reveal, but some episodes ends out of no where.

Another is detailing, In starting 6th minutes, SI Miraz said that he is from 'Dhanmondi Thana', however, the whole series showed 'Akash Nagar Thana'.

But overall, the series is good. Will look forward to more sci-fi content from the production team.

FS Nayeem was so good in his role. His acting blew my mind and left a lasting impression. The concept of the series was incredibly unique, unlike anything I've seen before. The creativity and originality behind the making of the series were truly remarkable. We need more shows like this in the sci-fi genre.

Everyone who loves to watch sci-fi series, especially those with a time travel concept, should definitely watch this series. The way the story unfolds is captivating, keeping the audience engaged and intrigued throughout. The twists and turns in the plot are brilliantly executed, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

Once again, I want to emphasize how good FS Nayeem was. His performance was outstanding, and he brought so much depth to his character. I loved every moment of it. A huge thanks to the director for such a beautiful and meticulous creation. The cinematography was also excellent, with stunning visuals that enhanced the overall experience.
