Cruise Ship Murder

Not worth your time. Not even worth the time it's taking me to write this review. Bad acting, bad writing, bad directing, bad costumes, even the sets are awkward. I turned it off halfway through. Life is too short to watch shows this bad. MC is supposed to be a journalist but has the worst investigative skills in the history of mystery writing. She must also have the worst fashion sense in history since she walks through the entire show in horrible pants with frayed hems, and odd shaped high heels. I don't know that I have seen that actor before, but I'm pretty sure costuming did her dirty in this show.

1 star is generous, this was painfully bad. The "plot" is extremely hard to follow and does not really make much sense whatsoever. This film is essentially following a guy who's wife disappeared on a cruise ship. This film is essentially a combination of mystery and romance/drama, however it does none of those things right. The entire theater groaned when everyone thought the film ended and it continued on to another scene and some even left prior. I do find it hard to believe that this was enjoyed by people because it is one of the worst things I have ever watched. There is a decent amount of gore and some sexual moments, and all of it was done horribly. I wanted to leave the theater, but I was with a group of people and we decided to stick it out. I would not ever recommend anyone watch this pointless nothing film. Very grueling to sit through because of how horrendously bad it was.

The dockside and embarking/disembarking scenes are at the 'museum' Queen Mary at Longbeach in California - the domed building in the shots is the Longbeach's cruise terminal. The Queen Mary has three funnels.

The ship shown at sea during daylight hours is the Quenn Mary 2 - it has just one funnel.

Who knows what ship the night time shots featured but it almost certainly wasn't the QM2 which would have had its funnel brightly lit up at night.

The passenger corridors are wider than any cruise ship that I've ever been on - they looked like they were filmed in a hotel. Absent in those corridors are the handrails that every cruise ship has on at least one side of the corridor.

Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the movie.
