The very beginning of this film is so slow I nearly shut the movie off. But then there was some sort of throwback to an earlier time and it was so over the top violent I kept watching.
It's a weird movie. Supposedly it was mostly shot in English, but it almost appears that some of the English scenes were cut into another film for continuity.
You have to give it to the Japanese that they seem to come up with some creative plot ideas. But don't be mistaken, this is a very low budget movie. Really a throwback to the grind-house flicks of the 70's and 80's.
It's not a great flick, but it's watchable and weird.

The Japanese are renowned for their whacky sense of humour, but they also have a darker side, or in this case a sicker side. Sadism, rape, murder, necrophilia, cannibalism? These are schoolboy jokes, not adult entertainment. Alas, all and more are included herein. The wife of a doctor is murdered before his eyes by one of the most degenerate human beings on the face of the planet; the doctor himself is crippled by the same lowlife but left alive so he can tell the world what a wonderful person his benefactor is. Not. He decides not unreasonably to exact revenge on this individual, and comes up with an extremely novel plan (one that is physically impossible in several ways). This is where Gun Woman comes in.
At this point she is his slave, but he promises her her freedom if she completes her bloody mission, which involves an act of mass murder, even granted that all those who are to die almost certainly deserve it. Can she really trust this man though, who murders an innocent woman in front of her eyes as part of her training? More to the point, doesn't the Doctor realise he has become what he seeks to destroy?
Any points this one gets are strictly for mild special effects, and a half decent soundtrack by Dean Harada.

The assassin in the very first shot of the film is played stiff as a board, wearing a trench coat, sunglasses, a moustache... ducking and diving at nothing.. walking then stopping for no reason. He gets in a car and talks to his accomplice - who is as nervous and vacant as him. Then the rest of the film is basically riding along with these two people you don't care about as they tell a story...
The best actor/actress of the film is the main character "gun woman", and a villain or two. The rest of the actors appear to be friends and family thrown in to fill gaps at the promise of seeing a naked lady or guy.

This is definitely a weird movie. I can't say for sure if it's bad or good, I just don't know. Its gory, a lot of nudity and 2 crazy ass looking people. At first I thought it was a documentary. And I thought most of the movie would be in English , I think it was in Japanese. Just watch at your own risk.
(This review doesn't summarize plot it is not what it is aimed at)
The movie doesn't feel like a 2014 movie but rather more of an early 2000's or late 90's.
The way the camera is used specially gives that feeling, the image just doesn't have that crisp quality and some shots are a bit pointless. The sound was bad at intervals, switching from scene to scene sometimes it was fine and sometimes it felt like it was recorded on a phone. Soundtrack further gives it that feeling out an old movie. Acting was average most times dialogue felt very stiff and with little to no presence this mainly applies to the side characters. Main characters were better acted specially "Gun Woman" she did a respectable job for the role.
As to the movie, its a bit all over the place its build up its going to be a little slow for some people, fight scenes are not 'that' great but perhaps take a more real approach that others movies exaggerate by adding over the top stunts and moves (so basically don't expect fight scenes like "The raid redemption" type). As to the goriness of the movie, yes there is a certain degree of it mixed in with a fair amount of nudity so if this is something which bothers you, maybe move onto another movie.
The movie gets more exiting after the first half but you will feel there is not enough character development for everyone except for 'Gun Woman' which we get told a little bit of her life but otherwise the detail provided feels minimal and you won't find yourself too attached to the characters.
Overall camera work is old fashioned, sound is average, characters are average, acting is on the low side on most characters and story itself is not bad just wished there was more depth to it.
So I think a 5/10 is a good score for this movie though i struggle at times to keep myself from watching something else i still found parts of it entertaining.

- CuriosidadesDespite receiving a credit, Tatsuya Nakadai does not appear in this film - only a still photograph of Nakadai is briefly used.
- Erros de gravaçãoDuring the gun battles at the end of the movie, the billionaire is counting the bullets fired. Since he has no clue what make and model gun Miyumi is using, he would have no idea how many rounds it holds.
- Cenas durante ou pós-créditosAfter the ending credits there is a scene followed by the statement "GUN WOMAN WILL RETURN".
- Versões alternativasThe UK release was cut, cut required to remove focus on a man's pleasure in the context of sexual violence, in order to obtain an 18 classification. Cut made in line with BBFC Guidelines and policy, and the Video Recordings Act 1984. An uncut classification was not available.
