Quando ninguém nos vê

This is not for everyone. There is an intensity that underlies the whole series which keeps the viewer engaged. The backdrop of Semana Santa adds a pageantry backdrop to a string of what seems like a derrière of unrelated killings. Beautifully shot to give us a feel of Holy Week in Andalucia Spain.

The acting is reserved. Unlike American thrillers with lots of car chases and gratuitous violence When No One Sees Us is about a slow unraveling story that feels more genuine.

If you are able to watch in the original language with subtitles it's more interesting. It loses something in translation.

I liked the series. Aside from the interesting and well-crafted plot, I like the atmosphere.

The fact that it takes place during Holy Week in Andalusia adds to the dense and somewhat overwrought atmosphere, adding more interest and mystery to the plot.

On the other hand, I liked the theme of the main characters' inner demons, who have to keep up with their professional demands while also struggling with their own personal problems and feelings of guilt.

Overall, I liked it. Some things could be improved, but overall, it was good.

It's wonderful; the details, the setting, are meticulously curated.

The different settings that will appear in the episode, the clothes and decorations, are not lacking in detail and are completely believable.

The plot is rich and intelligent.

Another absolutely boring series, the usual intertwining plots to justify dragging this through eight episodes. The characters are bland and acting like stiff cardboard puppets, the Japanese theme is thrown in to spice things up and completely miss any understanding of Japanese martial arts and spirit. None of the plot lines make any sense, neither do the lifeless characters.

Maybe the title gave the viewer a warning to what to expect: "When no one sees us" might better be changed into " Nobody wants to see this"!

Watching goldfish swimming in a bowl is rather exciting compared to this boring pulp!

...no stars for anything else. I just began episode 3 and can't take it anymore. I have never seen a collection of so many uninteresting characters. I literally don't care what happens because there is nothing to care about.

Every person is a cardboard cutout of a stock character...without any interesting characteristics. They could not be any more boring.

The story is a mere recital of uninteresting events through which super boring characters are schlepping along. Whatever they go on to accomplish, I don't care.

The direction is fine enough so far as cinematography is concerned.

Godawful. Can't recommend.

"The Thaw" is also available on Max at this time. It's like 10x better.
