EA Sports FC 24

I don't know where to begin with this game. It has so so many flaws. As a game creator, developer, company, whatever... you'd expect that they would take some pride in releasing a good or even great game. What you have with EA sports 24, is a game that is so poorly made it mades it almost unplayable. The gameplay is as bad as you can probably make a game of football, to the point where I dont think the developers have ever even watched a game. There are bugs everywhere, graphics messing up, players hair floating above their head, the score card showing strange symbols, players running in completely the wrong directions. Its crazy to think how EA escaped the ridicule of this game, when games like Cyberpunk where held to account for the same reason! If you're reading this and you're from EA, have some self respect before dumping garbage on players for £90!

And again EA is releasing an unfinished game/career mode, job wel done lads. When you are a career mode player you are just waiting for another company to stand up. It's a shame EA is only focussing on FUT and forget the rest of the people who are spending around 70,- for a game that isn't even finished. There is so much to get out of career mode, I think there are a lot of potential improvements but at EA they don't tend to see them or want to spend to much money on them. And yes, they added a few thing the last few years but sometimes when they come up with something new they tend to **** it up.

The difficulty levels are a mess. On World Class, instead of a smarter AI, the game sabotages your controls. Players react slowly, make poor decisions, and perform weak passes and shots. It feels like the game penalizes you for choosing a higher difficulty, not by improving the opponents, but by making your players worse. The gameplay becomes frustrating and unresponsive, making it impossible to enjoy or feel challenged in a fair way. EA Games failed to enhance the AI, opting instead to create difficulty through control issues and poor player mechanics. It's a disappointing experience overall.

I am convinced that this game hasn't been good since Fifa 18, after that (abysmal) to say the least. Apart from Fifa 20 being 'mid' at least in my opinion, being a minor improvement over the rest after or the exact one before it.

These games are soulless, way to expensive and far from a finished product. But, they for some reason decide to still go down that path of ridiculously poor gameplay, in order for money. And to cash in on the next big thing. Being equally as exhausting to conjour and complete, and violate us with £90 priced garbage.

I even watched a video saying "it's not easy to make football games" trying to defend the beutiful game. But, I just can't bring myself to agree, my thoughts and opinions are completely different. For examples, Fifa 13 is the Best Fifa, the gameplay is smooth and simple, and the style is equally as impressive and it doesn't endeavour on relying on profits and Fifa points to milk out money. Likewise, with many old Fifas. Very fun, very enjoyable and an easy game to play. Ofcourse, they all had there minor issues here and their but they were still always great games to play. Doing the basics and setting up high standards. Whilst being a better game. These so called "Fifas, or Ea24" are so transparent in comparison to those earlier fifas it's almost laughable, and a complete travesty to what made these games so good in the first place.

They should go back and do the basics first, then get the gameplay out. Instead of these updates every single millisecond that doesn't do anything, and make sure everything is in place. Because, watching people play it is hillarious, but for all the wrong reasons. The invisible man? Yeah because I somehow sore that, and that was bizarre and strange. And over-the-top and poor execution (no pun intended). And constant glitches that make the game poor.

I had fun playing with my little Brother. But in all honesty, the merits all have to go to the effects, which are always impressive and smooth. Just ashame about the rest of the game. I won't by the newer ones anymore, because of how badly they've been made, or mid for the past 5 years. Fifa 17 was the last great Fifa, all the rest are forgettable as sin. And after they have done the things that will likely improve the game in more ways then one, then make it £90-£100 quid for Ea, Until then it'll keep being lame and pathetic. Rant over.

Do I recommend this game?,

Unless your like Mark Goldbridge doing career modes for people to enjoy, I suggest you skipp it like paint dry.

So I originally played this game on PS4 and really enjoyed it. Mainly playing ultimate team.

Bought a PS5 for myself and have discovered how terrible a game it actually is. Players acting like idiots when defending by not reacting to simple switches so I can't change to a player in time.

The midfield is chocka, no point even attempting to pass it to anyone in that area as it's impossible to get any time on the ball.

I'm in shock at how terrible it actually is. My advice is to buy it on previous gen consoles. Graphics may not be as good but the gameplay is so much more fun.

It's gone back fifa 23 where you can score finesse shots from the edge of the box. I'm fairly confident that all the keepers are wearing blindfolds as the amount of terrible goals I've conceded from outaode the box or even pretry much directly at the keeper is ridiculous. Honestly so frustrating. I'm embarrassed for EA.

An update stated that they've tried to address the midfield problem so lord knows how bad it was before they did this.

My advice as stated is play it on PS4 or buy a football and go have a kick around.
