This guy's funny. He has some clever, well written videos that humorously R.I.P. apart notoriously bad video games such as Bubsy 3D. With a voice that sounds like Timon and restless energy, JonTron delivers mostly nonstop laughs with his takes on games and movies that usually earn his wrath. If you like video game reviews or reviews in general check him out.
I've always loved Jon's YouTube show ever since I starting watching it in 2012. He always had his unique, genuine and even now, pretty iconic sense of humor that is well known across the internet. He started his show heavily focused on the world of gaming, yet he still had his wits about him to deliver this in a way that was clearly different compared to other YouTube game reviewers of the time like The Angry Video Game Nerd. His style of humor had a very oddball tone mixed with criticism and positivity at the same time, compared to AVGN's comedic negativity targeted at almost every bad video game he ever reviewed. JonTron would only select materiel that he would know for sure would work with his style and be guaranteed to give his audience a good laugh.
But starting in 2013 after Jon left his channel for a while to work with Arin Hanson on GameGrumps, he returned with a slightly different style to evolve his channel. He would start reviewing game collections instead of just focussing on one or create funny top 10 lists. He started breaking away from gaming, which is understandable since almost everyone on YouTube does that and he wanted to stay unique. He started reviewing movies and nostalgic tv shows to get a laugh out of them
I don't exactly know how or when, but something about his style and delivery of comedy changed around this time, and it hasn't been the same since. I also never really thought that it was a bad thing though, because you cant stay the same forever, and you cant just focus your YouTube career on one topic for years and years without it becoming stale. You should also not just continue a YouTube channel purely out of feeling pressured by your fans. Jon is free to do what he wants, but I can't shake the feeling that the magic of his videos just hasn't feel the same and that the channel is veering of into an undesirable direction.
But whatever direction his channel may take in the future, it's still great to see his face still making waves around the internet instead of not seeing him at all.

JonTron is one of those rare special things. Something so beautiful and quotable that it becomes part of you. Jon Jafari is one of the greatest comedians of our time (if not the greatest). Words can NOT describe how much of an effect JonTron has had on my life. If there was a 100/10 option, that wouldn't be enough for me.
This is hands down the best review show online. Not only does Jon go out of his way to find the most obscure games possible, going so far as to dig into the sticky depths of Vietnamese bootlegs, but he encourages us to not only a laugh at the terrible quality of these games but develop a feeling of appreciation for the people who made them become a reality.
Why did Beat Takashi make Takashi's Challenge, a game of such absurd difficulty that the only way to win is to watch the Japanese TV commercial he made for the game, which included an important clue? What the heck is Nightshade? Why is it so awkward to play and what were the creators thinking with the bizarre design choices? Why is China so obsessed with loud aggressive background music? Why does Italy have an obsession with animated Titanic movies with talking animals? Jon asks the real questions.
It doesn't hurt that Jon Jafari comes across at that ubiquitous "ideal best friend" we all wish we had. He has that magical something that makes you want to buy a bunch of tacos and just hang out with him for hours, as opposed to many reviewers who make you either want to punch them for being smug or turn off after five minutes for being obnoxious.

JonTron has got to be one of the best solo YouTubers that reviews gaming. He is so witty and damn funny, and he honestly does not even try to be. Jon just has the sense of humour that anybody can enjoy.
Jon Jafari is extremely talented - with an endless knowledge of video games from the beginning of time to the modern era, the greatest sense of humour, the ability to film, edit, direct and star in his show and sings like an angel has just descended from heaven, he combines all of it into a 15 minute gaming review and will leave you laughing from beginning until end.
Although he has left Game Grumps to begin Season Two of JonTron, he hasn't uploaded a JonTron episode in nearly seven months, although plans on real soon. Before he uploads his new material, you must definitely watch all of the old videos he has done. 15 minutes of pure gold!
I give JonTron ... TENOUTTATEN! (This is a Game Grumps reference for those who don't understand).
