Movie is in one word just awesome...dance venuma dance irku.. fight venuma fight irku...Kalyan ram act irku ...total movie is awesome .... it's perfect family entrainer...all ages can watch this movie ... The bgm is amazing ...the story is different concept ... mainly this about similar person who look like same ....the director did awesome work in story he success in screenplay ... mostly the retro song of balayya Babu literally you enjoy a lot "enno ratrulosthayi" experience of the song is like melody remix awesome...it perfect movie for all ages..... come and enjoy Amigos in theatre .......

Amigos is about Siddharth (Kalyan Ram) finding two of his doppelgangers Manjunath and Michael, on a website. They decide to meet in Goa and become best of friends over a song. They even collaborate to help Siddharth to win over his girl Ishika (Ashika Ranganath). Things take a turn when Michael is revealed to be a druglord Bipin whom the NIA are after and his masterplan is to steal his doppleganger's identity forever.

This one liner story might sound appealing but the execution was unengaging from the first act itself. Making the trio find each other so easily and even the lackluster love story simply dragged the first half. Once the reveal happens, Siddharth taking on the powerful villain while saving his other friend who is in the custody of NIA seems far fetched. Even if one ignores the loopholes, the twists in the second half were pretty much basic and lacked finesse.

The good intent behind choosing such a concept is visible but not the effort in narrating it effectively. Even NKR tried too hard to portray the 3 different characters when they were basically written to be one toned.

Highlights of the film:

1. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's acting where he tries to fit into 3 different roles (and he does a very good job at it)

2. Movie based on an interesting concept but also has some elements of a commercial entertainer.

3. Cinematography & Ghibran's Background Score makes the first half engaging

4. Music - Enno Ratrulosta & Yeka Yeka were the best

Drawbacks:

1. Second half could've been better. The action and stunts were good, but NIA angle was unnecessary especially when it starts to get repetitive.

2. Climax was over the top (revealing it would be a spoiler)

3. It made no sense to show random scenes of the villain to prove how bad he is. Chemistry between hero and heroine was average.

Final Verdict:

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's acting as three different people (including both hero and the villain!) was commendable.

With ample comedy and romance (despite lack of chemistry) 1st half was pretty good. Despite stylish action, the 2nd half was below par.

Overall, keep your expectations low and it is certainly good for one time watch.

Amigos directed by Rajendra Reddy is an average movie that does not live up to the hype. The film is about three look-alike, who meet up through a website and what happens after making up the story. The writing was dull and inconsistent. It does not create any interest in the storyline. The concept of the plot line was good but the writing has ruined the potential. The script could have been more crisp and apt, removing unnecessary scenes. The screenplay was mushy and had irrelevant scenes in the movie. The screenplay could have created a thrill to the already ruined script but is also a huge letdown. The performances were below average, except for Kalyan Ram's triple role appearance, which was made with the most effort. The direction was mismatched and heading in a commercial direction but was flawed. The direction was leading in underwhelming and didn't help the scope of the script at all. The cinematography was poor but did stand in some scenes. The editing was done on average. The music was totally wasted and had no impact on the story. Overall, Amigos is an underwhelming story that had wasted a story with potential.

The director comes with the different concept stating how it going to be if People with Same features without any blood relation meet up.

It's Rajendra Reddy sir's first film, but he made audiance feel and think about the next move in the movie. Kalyan sir's acting is fine and impressive with all the 3 characters he had done. Director have to take care of his taking and need to look at VFX a little.

If some thrilling elements are added when heros father know the truth that his son is not siddhu.
