In the world of documentary film making, subject is of the up most importance, and in the case of Femme, the subject is the empowerment of women. A thorough, gripping, and deep subject. The film made me realize that as a society we have helped to bring down the perceived importance of women. Femmme has also helped me to respect my mother and girlfriend even more. This film is a movement, an attempt to transform and heal our society through documentary film making. Sharon Stone and others explore the depth and cultural weight of the empowerment of women through interviews with experts in religion, science, sociology and entertainment.
I thought that film was very inspiring. It gives you hope for the future. After seeing this film I felt empowered. It made me want to do more for my world, my children. I think if everyone watches this film the world would be a better place. In the film you hear from many different women, actors, like Sharon Stone, Maria Bello, feminist activist Gloria Steinmen and others. One of the main messages I got from this film is that women are powerful and nurturing. We have the power to live our lives in a way that promotes peace and prosperity. If you are a woman and want to feel good about yourself, you should watch this film. You will feel empowered to create good in your life and the lives of others.
What an inspiring movie! Through interviews with several noteworthy women the film profiles ways in which women are not only changing, but healing the world.
The film explains how the sacred feminine has been marginalized through the rise of the masculine. This has lead to many problems both economic and social as well. However, the film does not come off as depressing at all! Women are rising and using their sacred feminine to heal the world and restore some balance. The film paints a hopeful future for the planet. It is just up to us women to steer the planet back to prosperity and peace!

This film gives me hope for the future, mainly that there might be a way us to fix the problems of the past, and create a more equitable future.
Through numerous interviews with renowned women Femme gives insight into how the world is changing for the better. By women asserting themselves more the balance of the world is being tilted towards the positive again. This means that war, economic desparity, and inequality will start to erode.
The film does not let men of the hook (I'll admit at times I felt ashamed for my gender's past), but ultimately the message is hopeful. Both genders have an integral role to play in the planet's healing, that is the films inspiring message!

An insipid 90-minute documentary about how women have the inner strength to make the world a better place. I absolutely agree with the premise, but so many of the women interviewed come off as silly that the film's point is almost entirely negated. The filmmakers do use clips from some intelligent and influential women. But all too many of the interviewees are over-made-up Hollywood actresses, yoga teachers and so-called life coaches with absolutely nothing intelligent to say. It doesn't help that the documentary is sprinkled with strange stock clips from the '50s or that motivational author Marianne Williamson is the film's principal voice. I'm a committed feminist, but I found this imbecilic movie painful to watch.
