Heather looks bad but I think she did a great job in this movie!!

Heather locklear was great in this movie.u can just, Put yourself in her place.[f course Heather's looks change but her acting was way better ...> cried.and it was a true story.

Wonderful movie.

This film is about life. It is about difficult change and transition out of nowhere in important times of ones life. This film is about the not so glamorous parts of life. But it is real. It is genuine. The characters feel real. This feels like a real life experience.

Despite being a lifetime movie it is still big budget quality. Every actor plays their role just fine and even has show stopping performances. If you want a heart pulling story, this is the movie.

Did Not Hold My Interest

Lifetime let me down with this one. This movie was VERY boring. I considered turning it off several times. The movie lacks a plot. In addition, I was not sure what the focus was; the death of the patriarch or the chaos the kids created. This truly was a waste of film. And, my time.

It's a lifetime movie. It's bad as one would assume. There's not much more I can say about it other than that, it falls into every pitfall Lifetime movies fall into.

I enjoyed this film...

...because I have been a fan of Heather way back in the 80's and 90's and have read the book, Don't sweat the small stuff at the time it first came out. It was nice to see Heather back in the game and I thought she did great in her performance. The two daughters performed very well too. I don't watch Lifetime movies because they are generally geared for younger viewers but wanted to watch this one because of Heather and the Carlson book. It's a genuine and heartfelt movie. If you are a fan of Heather or have read the book, watch it...I didn't feel I wasted my time on it. Six stars.
