Really, Remy Ma? As a the narrator of this show, she definitely makes all of these real life criminals sound like heros. Probably because she falsely believes she is a hero after her own conviction. There is very little in this show that points to how these crimes destroyed not just the life of the criminal, but lives of the victims. This is exactly what is wrong in society today and how young people get caught up in scamming, drug dealing, etc. When will people stop glorifying crime??? This show is unacceptable and disappointing.
One story touches on a scammer in the DMV that only got 1 year in a plush federal prison, making scamming look like an easy crime. I really could not stand how Remy Ma glorified this scammer in particular. Her narrative kept encouraging the scammer's behavior.
Everyone has choices in life, but shows like these need to take some accountability. It's a reminder how bad society has become and the fact that criminals and uneducated people seem to be the most famous. Rather than truly talented artists.

Remy Ma narrating this is just weird. It's almost like she's ad-libbing the story. Just coming all in random. The stories are alright. I get it, they want to cover true crime from a "hood" point of view but, they could have made the stories a little more personal without Remy adding an ad lib. You see how their environment impacted their decisions.
I also get that the narration is trying to make it seem as if the decisions these people were making have some form of innocence to them. People make their own decisions and no one in any of these episodes is innocent. We can sympathize with their story without making it seem like someone was in the wrong for turning them in.

This show is complete trash. The guilt trip they try to lay on the viewer because the criminal grew up in a bad situation (BOO HOO. This isn't unique and you're not special) is just gross. None of the crimes were justified and the glorification of it by Remy Ma makes me sick. And I'm so tired of the "my skin is black or brown so the world is against me" victim mentality. If you want to do something with your life and make something of yourself, do it. Stop using race as a crutch. There are plenty of non-white people who have done amazing things and live wonderful lives because they had a (legal) vision and executed it.
I don't understand why the ratings are this low. The stories that they tell are entertaining and yes Remi can be a little corny and the acting seems staged but, overall the story line is great and thorough. I hope this series continues for years to come.
Girl gets in front of the camera, I was this, I was that bad ass. Then a friend comes in front of the camera. She was such a badass. Another friend, so was so wild n crazy.
Cut to a few scenes with actors, then back to interviews. And repeat and repeat.
Even if this is to believed, it's complete trash tv, all scripted and it's too boring to find out what happens.
