And Just Like That...

I started to watch with no expectations, a few minutes they have already spoke about every "social justice" subject they could cram in.

I am in my mid 50's and watching them act as if they are 80 year olds living in a bubble is hilarious.

Who are the awful writers? No wonder Kim Cattrall didn't want any part of it. She seems to be the smart one.

This is trying way too hard!!!

This could have been really interesting to watch if the essence was the same... Instead of a revival of good times this turned out like a nightmare... It's enough what we're going through - Sex & the City always covered important and serious topics, but with a fun approach. This is just plain boring and poorly written. It's an embarrassment, really.

I don't think I've ever seen a TV show try so hard to be modern and switched on, attempting to cover every possible modern topic in a popular fashionable way, these 3 bubble headed women babble on about these topics thinking they're witty and interesting, they are not.

Over dressed, over opinionated, over the hill, it's overall a sad effort and the end of these 3's careers.

It felt pretty nostalgic watching this and I don't think the writing is as bad as people are saying.

However, what ruined the show for me was the "wokeness" that just felt so forced and made me cringe. I think representation in film is important, but this is just over-the-top with too much focus on gender / racism / identity / discrimination. Doesn't feel natural. And that Che Diaz character who is supposed to add a humorous touch to the show is just so unfunny I almost couldn't handle it.

Season three is just total cringe at this point. After season 1 I gave it a 6, but I have to lower it to a 5-and that 5 is only because of the actresses (minus Charlotte), because without them it would be 1.

Whoever is writing this is turning these women into a walking manifestation of the idea: "a vain, out-of-touch wealthy person, becomes childish in old age." Their problems feel like something out of a children's show. What's going on with Aidan now is so humiliating for Carrie that I can't believe it's even supposed to be the same character.

Kristin Davis in SATC, when she was younger, somehow got away with her acting. But now, her cartoonish facial expressions are just idiotic and give me secondhand embarrassment.

The storylines-an entire episode about a text message, the rats, the painfully scripted dialogue, the overly staged scenes-are unbearable. The only reason this show isn't completely unwatchable is thanks to SJP, Cynthia Nixon, Sarita Choudhury, and Nicole Ari Parker-because that mashed potato was badly written.

This show isn't about love issues faced by women in their 50s when it comes to love. It's just random scenes from the life of the top 1%.
