Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to start shooting for his 170th film, tentatively titled Thalaivar170, from the first week of October in Trivandrum. The film, directed by Tj Gnanavel, is said to be an intense drama that revolves around the issue of fake encounters.

Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly is all set to resume shooting for his upcoming film with director Dijo Jose Antony. The untitled project, which is tentatively called Np 43, is said to be a political drama that will explore the contemporary issues in Kerala. According to sources, the team has planned a 40-day schedule in Palakkad, where they will shoot some crucial scenes involving Nivin and other actors.

The film, which is produced by Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames, had completed its first schedule in Dubai earlier this year. The film marks the first collaboration between Nivin and Dijo, who is known for his films Queen and Jana Gana Mana. The script is written by Sharis Mohammed, who also penned Jana Gana Mana. Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 13 (Ians) Pranav Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit movie “Hridayam”, which has collected Rs 50 crore from theatres, is all set for a re-release. According to the movie’s producer, Vyshakh Subramaniam, it will be released at select theatres on Valentine’s Day.

The movie was theatrically released on January 21 last year, and was one of the highest-grossing films in Kerala, along with Mammootty’s “Bheesmaparvam” and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s “Jana Gana Mana”.

The film’s director, Vineeth Sreenivasan, shared the information in a social media post that simply said: “Hridayam is back.” The movie also has Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran playing key roles.

The movie has won Kerala state awards for best music director and best film with popular appeal and aesthetic value. It will now be screened in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore and some other places during its re-release on Valentine’s Day.
