Dorm Life

Like The Office is to the monotony of 9-5 work, this is a better depiction of college life than actually living through it.

The highlight, for me is Marshall, the hyperactive RA who was, without a doubt, modeled after Michael Scott from The Office mixed with Ben Stiller in Dodge Ball. As well as Josh, the creepy but lovable, Andy Warhol-esquire theatre student.

And, Mike. Cutest guy I've ever seen.

I am very particular about TV-- I really don't watch anything that isn't exceptionally quirky, (dryly) witty or well-crafted. The production quality is high, and the writing is silly enough to portray college freshman, but smart enough to keep you invested. Dorm Life does not disappoint.

If you like "The Office" then you will love this show. It is just an internet show but it truly is hilarious due to the great acting and plot lines. I first found it when looking at random videos under "college", this came up and I thought it was some student made video, WRONG! This is professionally made with superb acting and scripts. The show is hilarious and if you like "The Office", this is the same type of original humor. The episodes are webisodes and only last about 6 minutes, I wish they were longer and I hope that they continue this great show in the future. I have not found any information as to whether or not the show is coming back or not. I guess this is a relatively unknown series, but well work the couple of hours it takes to get through all the episodes.

"Dorm Life" deserves - and hopefully will receive - much wider attention. It is a hilariously accurate, relatable take on College Life. It's style follows that of The Office, but episodes are only 5 minutes long and the characters are more appealing. The psycho RA Marshall and the pitiable Steph are the scene-stealers, but the entire cast acquits themselves very well. Although, the cast and creators of this show are from UCLA, the characters and stories are universal.

I stumbled on this show by accident and now can't wait for Season 2 to start in October. Congrats to all the actors, writers and directors for their superlative effort. www.dorm-life.com

High for me! I found this cool little series on YouTube last night and ( can't remember how many episodes) I watched because they're only like 7-9 minutes. I really like this. It reminds me of an Ozzy or UK similar show. The episodes are short so it goes by fast. I can't believe there's only 3 reviews and I wish there were more seasons. Give it a go!
