Miss Março: A Garota da Capa

I don't know why they didn't add Timmy and other guys to the casting/scripting of this movie, but I'm sure hoping they will if they should ever create another one.

There were some very good laughs, but overall it felt kinda like 90's movie with Tom and Jerry like jokes(Which doesn't have to be a bad thing when well executed).

Also they were going WAY too much for the simple Hollywood recipe and moral story.

Whitest Kids You Know rocks 100% :P I sure can't wait to see new stuff from them.

...maybe my hopes were just too high for this one...

Enjoyable adult comedy but more suitable for a video distribution than a nationwide release. As in all comedies of this genre, some of the jokes are lame, some are stretched and some are quite funny. Miss March has all of the three characteristics but to somewhat of an equal degree which kind of makes it lesser fun than what it could have been. But it does have somewhat of a story line going for it and Trevor Moore was enjoyable, although he reminded me of Matthew Lillard throughout the movie. Rent it out on video and get together a group of friends, preferably students, to set the atmosphere, and you (and this movie) will be all the more merrier. 5/10.

OK I just got back from seeing this movie and I got to tell you it was pretty damn funny. If you are going to this movie to see another Shindlers List...leave the car in the driveway. It is not artistic nor is it pretty. What it is...funny as hell!!! I caught the early showing (ok I'm cheap, there I said it and I am sticking to it). There were only about 20 people in the theater. An older couple, a couple of guys around 25, a group of 18 - 20 yr old, and of course yours truly. All different backgrounds and ages. What amazed me is that we all laughed when it was funny, we all cringed when it was gross. We did not have to have the director lead us to the joke like a fat kid to cake, it was just there.

Will you see this movie up for an Oscar...no. Will you see this movie in my movie collection when it comes out...U bet you sweet bippy.

On the night he is to lose his virginity, straight-arrow high school student Eugene Bell (Zach Cregger) gets conked on the head, causing him to fall into a coma for four years. When he finally awakens, he discovers that his once-demure and squeaky-clean girlfriend (Raquel Alessi) has apparently dropped her abstinence-only policy in favor of a career as a Playboy centerfold model. His best buddy, the goofy Tucker Cleigh (nicely played by Trevor Moore), decides to spring Eugene from the hospital where he's undergoing physical therapy and drive across country to the Playboy Mansion to help the recently awakened young man get a second chance with his girl.

"Miss March," co-written/directed by Cregger and Moore, is another one of those seemingly limitless sophomoric raunch-fests that have been flooding the cineplexes ever since "Animal House" hit the fan back in the late 1970s. The jokes - which mainly center around poop and physical disabilities - range from the clever to the just-plain-stupid, with the ratio, unfortunately, weighted far more towards the latter than towards the former. However, almost in spite of itself, the movie still manages to generate a few good-natured laughs from time to time. And though he doesn't have much going for him in the acting department, Hugh Hefner does have a good time parodying himself in a cameo appearance late in the movie.

I think that this movie is a perfect example of the weaknesses of IMDb. You get too many people of the wrong mindset reviewing this movie. Being a huge fan of Youtube's "The Whitest Kids U' Know", I found the humour in this movie spot on. It is MEANT to be completely over the top (with some real cringy bits). Its just what they do, and to be honest, not many could do it better.

Yes, this film may not deserve a reputation for anything other than just another Teen movie, but in my books its darn good, and more than anything else, it made me feel a lot happier inside. Is that a bad thing?

Basically, if you are someone who is going to watch this movie without being able to handle sick, crude jokes, then why review it? it isn't for you. That's quite simple.

So in the words of Tucker himself, I would rate this film "A perfect seven".
