it's a tense time

Anders Sømme Hammer's Academy Award-nominated "Do Not Split" focuses on Hong Kong's 2019 protests against a proposed extradition law imposed by China. It contains some intense scenes, as the protesters have no choice but to get tough on the police. Sure enough, a certain pandemic forced the protests to end.

It's a short but harrowing documentary. It reminds us that vigilance and action are the price of democracy.
