I haven't been compelled to write a review for this show up until now, but I'm just shocked that some people didn't like this! Going into it, knowing the concept, I expected it to be a pretty meh episode, but this genuinely surprised me.
I don't really care for musicals but regardless of whether this was a musical episode or not, this episode was one of the most hilarious, emotional, and entertaining episodes of the show thus far!
The musical stuff wasn't overbearing either, it didn't feel forced, and didn't feel like it was the whole point of the episode. I feel like some people are so closed-minded that as soon as they see a concept they don't normally like, they instantly rate poorly.
However this became an instant favourite for me. Well done!

Netflix needs to stop making musical episodes of everything, episode was annoying and cringe.
The voice pitching was awry. But it is a good enough show to overlook the actual performances and appreciate the effort of a really good cast and story line.
Can see this is one of the lowest rated episodes of the series but this is truly down to people not getting the reason for this episode. The whole idea of this is to ridicule all of the previous episodes of shows like Riverdale musical episodes. Lucifer even says "You just made me sing again. This has to stop!". This is to tell god to stop these kinds of episodes.
All of the songs/ singing and dancing was trash... apart from the Maze and Ella song! Not all people should or can sing and actors are no different but i have not laughed so hard during this episode. We still get Lucifer's standard sarky remarks a case to be cracked and the supporting team do what they do best.
I cant help but say that God was a perfect casting again for the series, his dad dancing at the end is also so prefect. If they try to do this again this wont work but as a one off this is just another evolution of the series. The Noir detective episode didnt hit home in the first half of the series but this works so perfectly in the dynamic of god controlling Lucifer's life and everyone on earth. With the revelation at the end this make for a great setup to the next episode.

I loved this episode! Usually I am not a fan of musicals, but the way the musical dance numbers were incorporated into this episode was so entertaining. It had to involve an incredible amount of rehearsal and creativity writing. Wow! Everyone on this show is so talented.
My favorite was Lucifer (Tom Ellis) singing "Every Breath You Take" with Debbie Gibson in the interrogation room. My favorite line was Lucifer to Debbie Gibson (playing a overbearing/helicopter parent).
Lucifer: "Madam please! Ground your helicopter."

- CuriosidadesFor the DC Fandome 2020 event, co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich said Tom Ellis's suit pants were specially tailored with wefting - extra stretch points so he could dance in them without splitting the fabric. They tore anyway.
- Erros de gravaçãoAt the very end of the song "Just the Two of Us" Amenediel and Linda spin the stroller one last time revealing that there is no Charlie inside.
