Mumbai, Jan 5 (Ians) Playback singer Chandana Dixit has recalled the time when she was lost out a song to the legendary Asha Bhosle in a Hrithik Roshan film.
The year was 2000, and the song in question is "Jaaneman jaaneman" in Hrithik's debut film "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai", which would go on to become a blockbuster.
"The first dubbing I did was for the somng 'Husn hain suhana' (in the 1995 release 'Coolie No. 1') and my voice was retained in the final cut. That is how I started my journey in Bollywood playback singing. From then on, my voice was never replaced by any singers except for once. There was that song 'Jaaneman janeman' in 'Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai'. I believe initially Asha ji recorded the song. I do not know why the music directors called me in the studio and asked me to sing the song.

In a span of two years, Sara Ali Khan has seen the highs of glamour and has also garnered a substantial fan base. The daughter of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh may have been born in the lap of fame, but she insists she does not believe in stardom.
"I don't look at stardom. Till now, I don't use the word fans. I don't use the word star. I don't believe in these things. I think Friday to Friday -- I mean it used to be Friday and it can now be released any day. With every release of a film your stature, stardom, whatever you call it, keeps changing," Sara Ali Khan expressed.
"I think the only thing that matters is your 'neeyat' (intention). Aapki jo 'neeyat' hoti hai woh matter karta hai aur kahin na kahin jo aapki shiddat, passion aur junoon hota hai woh matter karta hai.

"We have used a lot of live instruments, rhythm percussion and chorus to make the song larger than life, for which we went to Chennai," the composers told Ians, adding that they completed recording of the song in 25 days.
The impact has been satisfactory. Filmmaker David Dhawan was impressed, and so is the audience, going by online views.
The song garnered close to six million views within a few hours of release and it is currently trending on YouTube. Interestingly, this is the only original song composed for the film.

Mumbai, Aug 27 (Ians) Actor Varun Dhawan has shared that he has been gradually recovering from a shoulder injury during the lockdown.
Varun had injured his shoulder while shooting for "Street Dancer 3D", which released earlier this year. On Thursday, he informed his followers on Instagram that the injury is healing.
"Whatsup.. had a shoulder injury from the time of shooting street dancer. Never healed properly but now after proper rehab, rest, training and yoga I can start putting weight on it and maybe get back to these exercises," Varun wrote.
With his note, he posted a video in which he can be seen doing a single dumbbell push up.

Actor Varun Dhawan escaped unhurt when a stunt went wrong while shooting for his upcoming film "Coolie No. 1".
While shooting for a scene on Sunday, Varun got stuck inside a car hanging off a cliff when the doors of the car got jammed. Varun kept his calm and escaped unhurt.

The unit was filming a scene in the outskirts of Pune, which required the actor to deliver some close-up shots inside a car as it hung off the cliff.
According to an onlooker present during the shoot, when Varun was filming his shot, he realised that the car door had got jammed and wouldn't open.
"Even though the stunt was rehearsed several times under the supervision of the stunt coordinators and all the safety precautions were taken by the director and the producers of the film, things didn't go well as planned.
