Liv Golf is on the move, leaving The CW for a new multiyear rights deal with Fox Sports.

It is a major upgrade in terms of broadcast reach for the upstart golf league, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

Liv says that more than half of its schedule will be televised on the Fox broadcast network or Fox Sports 1, with FS2 and Fox Business Network also carrying some matches. Liv Golf will continue to produce the events itself, with its own broadcast team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The addition of Fox Business Network as a Liv channel also pushes sports programming to parts of the Fox portfolio where they haven’t gone before. Fbn has also simulcast Fox Weather in recent months.

Liv Golf could be on the move. The golf league, which has attracted controversy ever since its inception thanks to funding from the Saudi Public Investment Fund, no longer has a broadcasting deal in place with The CW, and is looking for a new partner. Sports Business Journal reports the league has had “high level discussions” with Fox executives about moving to that channel in 2025.

CinemaCon continues to confirm honorees for its Big Screen Achievement Awards, adding actress Ariana Greenblatt to the roster.

Greenblatt will be presented with a rising star of the year trophy at a ceremony inside the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on April 11.
