Miscreants

Many a pornographer has fancied himself as an avant-garde filmmaker, claiming the X-rated territory as liberating. Notorious gonzo perpetrator Rob Black has built quite a reputation with this violent porn exercise, but I found it to be utter junk.

I watched because the great Stephanie Swift is in the lead role, before her superstardom at labels like Vivid, Adam & Eve and especially Wicked Pictures afforded her meaty acting roles. But here she is subjected to gonzo mistreatment at Rob's hands.

The pretentious story has surrealistic elements, but is jumbled together with a confusing time-sequence, all designed to impress fans who dote on Psychotronic cinema and anything outlandish. Does it hang together as a nightmare tale of a young damsel in distress? Hardly.

Not just SS but many other talented players spin their wheels, notably Jeanna Fine as a mysterious and glamorous figure, Tiffany Mynx and Dru Berrymore along for the ride and the wonderful French star Liza Harper completely lost in the shuffle. Black's brand of violence won him an outlaw category along with his better half Lizzy Borden, as well as a jail sentence for crossing the line into obscenity.

Robert Black's "Miscreants" is a raunchy ride through the seedy underbelly of human desire, pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable in adult entertainment. With an ensemble cast of well-known performers, this film delivers on its promise of miscreant behavior, offering a no-holds-barred glimpse into the world of debauchery.

The movie wastes no time in diving into the action, with an opening scene that sets the tone for the rest of the film. We're introduced to a bevy of beautiful women, including the likes of Brooke Ashley, Dru Berrymore, and Holli Woods, who waste no time in indulging in their carnal desires. The women enthusiastically explore each other's bodies, with particular attention to each other's nether regions, in a steamy outdoor encounter.

Brooke Ashley stands out in this scene, her insatiable appetite for pleasure knowing no bounds as she enthusiastically engages in lesbian anilingus, her mouth watering at the taste of her partner's most intimate regions.

As the film progresses, the scenes become increasingly explicit. A particular standout is a lesbian foursome featuring Deva Station, Jeanna Fine, Stephanie Swift, and Tiffany Mynx. This scene is a masterpiece of eroticism, with the women exploring each other's bodies with a passion that is raw and intense. The use of vaginal and anal dildos adds an extra layer of kink, as does the presence of a voyeuristic male gaze, adding to the sense of forbidden pleasure.

In another memorable moment, featuring Randee Lee in a raunchy foursome with Jay Ashley and Kyle Stone. Lee is a force of nature, taking on both men with abandon. This film is demented. I was laughing and crying. Not always with amusement. There seems to be a rough plot that sticks these seedy scenes together. As with all adult films, it doesn't matter that much. We know the score. Stephanie Swift is the main centre-piece. The story seems to revolve around her abuse and the consequences of it. There are some scenes that really stand out for their sheer madness and quality. The chauffeur that drives Jeanna Fine around, well, erm....it's a horse-man-thing. I loved that touch. This develops into a mad doll manipulation scene. A real whack in the face of a scene is the crippled wheelchair-bound rape scene. Obviously not real, (not that I have witnessed the real thing) but 'different'! I would say it is quite extreme, in some ways. It depends on what you have seen before. I won't give the STORY away. Watch it. Buy it, WHatever you want with it. But, don't miss it. Regardless of your preferences in life.
