A Casa Animada

When a group a cartoon character live in a house with video cameras everywhere, you know things are going to get crazy; and crazy it does. Drawn Together is a very sharp, tongue-in-cheek, parody show that isn't for the faint of heart viewer. This is gross, disgusting comedy, and i love every minute of it. It makes fun of other shows, but puts its own spin on it. You've seen a lot of the skits and jokes from somewhere else, but it seems so fresh and new in here. The writer ain't afraid to push the envelope to. When you see the episode about Clara's cursed genitals you'll understand.

All the characters are great and they spend time on them all. Ling-ling is just crazy, Clara is so flaky, foxy so independent, Captain Hero so naive, Spanky ham is the only one above thirty, Toot is one back-stabbing bitch, Wooldoor is there for laughs, and Xander is so gay but he's always trying to save his girlfriend.

This isn't for many people, but if it tickles your fancy than you wont be disappointed. A great disgusting comedy.

I like animation and I really wanted to check this out. And I enjoyed Drawn Together. It was funny and surprisingly clever. It's pretty much South Park on steroids - it's more crueler and ruder. First I'm gonna list what I liked about the show.

1)I like how they've mixed different types of animation.

2)There wasn't a single episode that I hated. Sure, not all were excellent but those episodes were still entertaining to watch.

3)For the most part the characters are likable.

4)Great use of gross humor.

5)Funny plots. For example in one of the episodes Princess Clara tries to become great strip dancer, so her father could say to her that he loves her.

6)The voice acting is good.

7)The best episode of the show is A Very Special Drawn Together After School Special and it's so excellent.

8)The best character in the show for me were Foxxy, Ling-Ling and Wooldoor and Toot.

9)The humor overall is great.

10)Good references to another media like Star Wars and Grease.

There are other things I liked about Drawn Together but let's see what I didn't liked about the show.

1)Some jokes were too ''long'' - in one of the episodes almost a minute is spent watching Spanky Ham farting.

2)In some episodes Captain Hero's ego was too much for me.

3)Some moments were just too much for me.

4)I didn't liked the change in Princess Clara's personality.

5)Season 3 dropped the ball a bit. My least favourite of the 3. Still a solid season.

Overall I enjoyed my month in the Drawn Together house. The show had lots of excellent and very good episodes. The best season in my opinion was season 2. I haven't seen the movie, though I saw plenty of negative reviews from the fans of the show. Maybe the show was canceled for good, considering season 3 was the least good in the series, though, again, it was a solid season. From BAD 1 to EXCELLENT 6 I give the show VERY GOOD 5, which is, well, a very good thing about the show.

This show made me laugh so hard that I was very much in danger of accidentally dropping my laptop off of my laps and onto the floor. It expertly parodies not only reality shows, but all the various genres from which the characters are drawn. Toots is not only a parody of Betty Boop, but a parody of stereotypical goth chicks, complete with massive attention-whoring and self-mutilation in search of that attention. Then, we've got the big stupid superhero guy, who is quite possibly a close relative of Captain Zap Brannigan from Futurama. The Disney-style princess is so absolutely spot-on that you'd swear she sprung directly from the House of Mouse, albeit becoming rather twisted in the process. Her relationship with the smack-talking "Hot Chick" (a spin on a Josie and the Pussycats character, for sure) revolves through hostile and EXTREMELY affectionate by turns. Never before was there a Disneyesque musical number done about a lesbian kiss, and one can only hope there will be many more in this show's future. And Ling-Ling... ah, what can be said about Ling-Ling, the Pokemon takeoff? Other than the fact that she may very well be one of the greatest characters ever conceived of in the history of television, that is all.

Drawn Together is one of the best adult cartoons out there. The plots are unpredictable, creative, and hilarious. Early on, it was a reality show parody, but after the first season, that premise takes a backseat to just generally crazy adventures. This show catches flack for touching on some mature and dark topics, but a lot of the "offensive" jokes are actually witty, clever, and placed at exactly at right time. Basically, the shock humor felt like it served a purpose. The third season has a mild decline in quality, but overall, this is a brilliant cartoon.

This adult cartoon deserved a lot more viewers, it was my favorite show and will always be. rest in peace drawn Toghter
