I was given a surprise Concert ticket to see Celine in Las Vegas last May. Myself and 4 of my family members went. It was absolutely FABULOUS!!! It is like NO OTHER Concert I have ever seen. It was more like a Musical Production. Much better than the Broadway Musical I saw in N.Y. There was so much to see on the stage, that it was impossible to take it all in. Celine has such a kind and personable way about her. It is like she is performing JUST FOR YOU. She has a tremendous voice. Talent just flows from her. Her cast is super. They are truly professionals, with talent to spare. I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to see her Concert in person. I had seen bits of it on T.V., but on my, it was nothing like the real thing. If anyone gets an opportunity to go, it is truly the entertainment of a lifetime. I would go again in a HEARTBEAT!! Don't let Celine leave Vegas, without YOU seeing her!
Celine is back, and better than ever. This is her first Las Vegas concert, one of hundreds she will be performing for the next three years. The arena made specifically for her is simply outstanding, and the extra effort Celine put into the show was evident throughout. Of course, Celine's pipes were in full force during the concert, in which she performed hits like "I'm Alive." Certainly a treat for any Celine fans out there.
Although I have more music than the average person in all kinds of genres and styles I'm just not a celine Dion fan however her new day song is amazing and that would be the only song I can think of from her that I would listen to. I heard a review say that this movie will please every critic and I think that is true I was mesmerized by watching this movie the dancers were stunning what's interesting about this movie is you don't really see the entire concert you see bits and pieces and on half of the screen you see what's going on Backstage and in the dressing rooms. This music DVD makes it clear that Celine Dion is a mega star and you don't need to be a Celine Dion fan to enjoy the talent in this movie. As much as I enjoyed the close-ups and the obvious camaraderie of the cast I was sorry I only saw pieces of the show I would have liked to see more of the dancing it was interesting to see the dancers getting ready to go on stage but let me see them on stage! The one set of dancers in the pink dresses dances were so beautiful.
Celine could sing the alphabet and make it sound good. And since she sings in 6 languages, it would be a long song! Her special shows how versatile she is and how real and kind she is.
