Linkin Park have taken to Facebook to release their episode of Carpool Karaoke and it's 24-minutes of hilarity with comedian Ken Jeong (Community, Role Models). The episode was posted with the blessing of the family of Chester Bennington and serves as a tribute to the late front man while also highlighting the One More Light Fund that the band set up in honor of Bennington. The One More Light Fund is a non-profit organization, with the mission of spreading more awareness on mental illness and suicide.
The episode begins with Kim Jeong jokily announcing that it's his intension to join the band and change the name to Lin-Ken Park in honor of his name and suggests that they throw out band member and main songwriter Mike Shinoda. Shinoda and Joe Hahn are in the back seat while Jeong and Chester Bennington are in the front, with Bennington behind the wheel,...

Late-night’s biggest fanboy James Corden regularly loses his you-know-what during Carpool Karaoke, but he’s never actually lost his shirt. Until now.

On Monday’s Late Late Show, the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined Corden in crooning such tracks as “Can’t Stop,” “Give It Away,” “Californication” and “Under the Bridge.” The sing-along, which was interrupted for conversations about the rock and roll lifestyle, prosthetic leg battles, and Cher, took an unexpected turn midway through when Corden challenged Anthony Kiedis to a “man wrestle.” (Needless to say, it was probably a mistake.

Even with the recent introduction of "Drop the Mic," "Carpool Karaoke" remains The Late Late Show's most consistently entertaining segment. Last night, James Corden was joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers for a drive around Los Angeles. It was basically everything you'd expect a carpool with Rhcp to be like: the shirts came off, there was some front lawn wrestling, and air bass playing. During the segment, in between singing some of the band's hit songs ("Californication," "Under the Bridge," etc.), Corden and the guys chatted about everything from the weirdest thing they've seen at one of their shows to the time Cher babysat Anthony Kiedis to their penchant for nudity. Somewhere along the long, a spontaneous wrestling match broke out and oh, yeah, most of the guys took off their shirts. You can watch below.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were the latest artists to cram in James Corden's vehicle to help the Late Late Show host get to work on time for "Carpool Karaoke," although the host likely regretted that decision as soon as Anthony Kiedis and Flea begin arguing about directions around Los Angeles within the first minute.

Check out this great piece of Homer Simpson tribute art created French artist Pez. The print was created for Under the Bridge, and it will be released on Wednesday, December 18th, at around 12pm eastern. It's part of the artist's "Distroy" series. For more information, click here.
I absolutely love this dark and eerie design of the famous cartoon character. I've also included some variants, in which Homer is wearing a different themed shirt in each piece.

Rockstar are spoiling us in this last month as we build up to the greatest game ever made (I have said it before and I am not afraid to say it again.).
Now, whether they wanted them to or not, the achievement list has been confirmed by various websites. The Trophy list is the same for PS3 as it always is, but the achievement list has been leaked for Xbox 360 in the last day or so.
Read on for all the single player achievements and click the ‘Next’ button for all the extensive ones leveled at Multiplayer. One thing is for sure from this list, we are in for a treat:
Solid Gold, Baby! (50 points) – Earn 70 Gold Medals on Missions and Strangers and Freaks.
The second biggest achievement on the list, this one is clearly all about getting the highest ratings for all the main missions/side quests in GTA V.

Los Angeles -- For a city that has argued for decades over what its official song ought to be, Los Angeles has never lacked for serious contenders.
Anyone who has spent time here knows the city already has at least one unofficial tune: Randy Newman's "I Love La" is played after every home game the Los Angeles Lakers or Dodgers win.
But have you heard Bing Crosby warble about how he once planned to "settle down and nevermore roam, and make the San Fernando Valley my home?" Or songwriter George G.W. Morgan's tuneful boast in 1876 that if you really wanted great wine, forget the fancy European stuff, just open a bottle of La's best and drink up.

New York -- At the end of a long day, Kathie Lee Gifford offers a visitor a cup of coffee. Not wine, coffee.
"Would you like a skinny latte that I'm not going to drink?" she asks, sweetly. "I just realized it has caffeine. I get up so early that I will never get to sleep tonight if I drink it."
Gifford, forever the kind host, has every reason to need her rest these days: In addition to her gig on the often boozy fourth hour of the "Today" show, she's also putting the finishing touches on the lyrics and book of a new Broadway musical.
It's about the controversial 1920s-era Pentecostal evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson – a woman near and dear to Gifford's heart, even if most people haven't heard of her.

This is the third entry in Vulture's occasional series: Pop Culture Mysteries. Read our previous pieces, about the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Under the Bridge" and Toni Basil's "Mickey." In 2008, ABC’s Good Morning America followed John Mellencamp around his hometown of Seymour, Indiana. Naturally, the story included a mention of the singer’s most famous song, “Jack and Diane,” which hit No. 1 in October 1982, when Mellencamp was still calling himself John Cougar. The Gma report specified the line, “Suckin’ on a chili dog outside the Tastee Freez,” going on to note that “the actual Tastee Freez is long gone,” before segueing into Mellencamp’s concerns about the corporatization of middle America and the destruction of family farms (which, in 1985, pushed him to co-found FarmAid). As immortalized in the song, the Midwestern frozen-treat stop is a monument to good old-fashioned teenage boredom, wanton horniness, and greasy fast food...

This is the second entry in Vulture's occasional series: Pop Culture Mysteries. See our previous piece, about the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Under the Bridge," here. Few things stoke the prurient imagination — or the loins — of America more than the classic cheerleader look: the midriff-bearing half-tops and peek-a-boo skirts surrounded by an aura of wink-wink, tongue-in-cheek innocence. So it makes sense that we've had a three-decade-long boner for Toni Basil's smash pop hit "Mickey," which pom-pommed its way to the top of the charts back in 1982. A persistent rumor has run alongside the song in the decades since. Lyrics like, "So come on and give it to me / Any way you can / Any way you want to do it / I'll take it like a man" have led to speculation that Basil wanted it served to her "like a man": In other words, delivered...

'Elliot Loves' (Isa:tla Releasing) by Gary Terracino is a true American independent, made completely outside of any system, largely self financed, crowd funded, sponsored even, you name it - by any means necessary. It's a story that anyone from any walk of life can relate to; ultimately when love sucks, it F-in sucks. But when it's beautiful...
'Elliot Loves' had distribution offers on the table by the Friday before it's Sunday world premiere at 2012 The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival where it would go on to win the Audience Award for Best Feature and Tla would announce worldwide rights to 'Elliot Loves' at Cannes. With screenings lined up across the States and Europe, this is merely the beginning of an illustrious career for Terracino. I had the pleasure (and anxiety attacks) to take the journey with Terracino. So I thought I'd catch up with him as he takes the film globally.
LatinoBuzz:Who introduced you to your earliest memory of film?
Gary Terracino:When I was four years old, my mother saw "Jaws" without taking me (and my two sisters) with her. Even at that age, I can remember being pissed at her. Well, the movie terrified her and for the rest of that summer she would not take us to the beach! Whenever we begged her she said, "But you'll be eaten by sharks!" I distinctly recall a neighbor saying to her, "Rhina, you're crazy! It's only a movie. There are no sharks swimming off of Coney Island!"
So my first memory of a movie is, naturally,of one I wasn't allowed to see!
LatinoBuzz:You are an independent filmmaker in it's truest form, making Elliot Loves by hook and crook - what's the most beautiful moment you took away from making the film in this manner?
Gary Terracino: My producing partner (Juan Caceres) and I had tried to make "Elliot Loves" for Six years: companies optioned our rights -- then went under (happened twice); experienced producers lectured us that "Elliot" was too complicated and too ambitious to ever happen; and various production companies dangled large budgets in front of me if only I made huge compromises -- as in, shoot in La, not New York; make it less Latino -- a little more white; lose the scenes of violence with the child; make it less gay; make it gayer... On our very first day of shooting, we were shooting the scene when 11 year-old Quentin Davis Araujo (playing 9-year-old "Elliot") is sitting in a bubble bath with a cigarette in his mouth and a turban on his head as he talks to the camera and narrates his life. Standing there, holding the cigarette and turban, I froze. I thought, "He's never going to do this; he'll panic and flip out." All of a sudden, Quentin reached out from the tub, grabbed the cig and the turban from me and said, "Let's get started. I'm ready and this water is cold!" At that moment, I knew from there on in, we'd be fine. And might I add that at 11 years old, Quentin Davis Araujo had bigger balls and greater vision than all the "experienced" producers and production companies who failed to come though for us?!
LatinoBuzz:The film that closely resembles the world you would like to live in?
Gary Terracino:I would marry "The Wizard of Oz" with "The 400 Blows." If I were God, I would mandate that all films be made in black and white -- and in French! And have one Technicolor flying sequence. That's what my ideal world looks and sounds like.

It's in black and white but there is one Technicolor dream sequence in which River Phoenix and Johnny Sheffield fly in the sky and speak French. The ending is sad yet uplifting. May I add that Pauline Kael comes back from the dead and gives it a rave review?
LatinoBuzz:If you were given a song to write the screenplay to; which song is it?
Gary Terracino:The day I first heard Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under The bridge" I started to scribble notes for "Elliot Loves." There you have it!
LatinoBuzz: What are the most striking differences between American Latinos and Latin American filmmakers for you?
Gary Terracino: Latin American filmmakers tend to have greater resources, whereas American Latino filmmakers have to be scrappier. Latin American filmmakers, however, work with a greater scope and vision; they're less self-absorbed and more expansive in their subject matter.
LatinoBuzz:Anything you deplore in filmmaker?
Gary Terracino:Dishonesty of any kind, on or off screen.
Follow 'Elliot Loves' at on.fb.me/MxsZRg for screenings, reviews and news!
Time Machines are on sale at Sears next to the AC's; as a Director, If you could bring two actors together to make the perfect love story who are they? Who wrote the screenplay? What's the plot and who's the Dp? (everyone has to be dead)
Marilyn Monroe is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She falls for rich, dashing Cary Grant. Her brother is a young, starving artist played by River Phoenix. He's in love with a painter, played by Johnny Sheffield ("Boy" from the 1930's "Tarzan" films). Their wacky and overbearing mother is played by Ruth Gordan. Marilyn's best friend is a showgirl, played by Lucille Ball. River's sidekick is wisecracking Eve Arden. The script is written by Francois Truffaut, Madelyn Davis and Bob Caroll, Jr. Nestor Almendros is the Dp. It's in black and white but there is one Technicolor dream sequence in which River Phoenix and Johnny Sheffield fly in the sky and speak French. The ending is sad yet uplifting. In their first appearance at the festival, Rhcp unleash raucous energy.

Manchester, Tennessee — In a two-hour set that absolutely flew by, the Red Hot Chili Peppers proved Saturday night that they're still the hardest-working band in the business. Their incomparable energy was on full display in their first Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival appearance as they tore through their nearly 30-year catalogue.
A little more than two months into a tour schedule that has them performing nonstop through the end of November, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees opened with "Monarchy of Roses," the first track on their most-recent release, I'm With You. "Factory of Faith" and "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" also represented that disc.
Highlights included the Rhcp classics "Give It Away," "Suck My Kiss," "Under the Bridge" and...

Randy Newman may proclaim, "I Love L.A.," but Los Angeles is deeper, richer, and more vibrant than that shouty stream of Chamber of Commerce clichés. For an Angeleno like me, "Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers comes closer to capturing the city's true vibe. It starts out sunny: "I drive on her streets 'cause she's my companion / I walk through her hills 'cause she knows who I am / She sees my good deeds and she kisses me windy / And I never worry ... " And then takes a dark — very L.A. — turn: " ... Now that is a lie."The 1992 single, off the album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, was a turning point for the Chili Peppers. Their first mainstream hit, the song went platinum, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard "Hot 100." Coupled with a video directed by Gus Van Sant,...

Gulf Shores, Alabama — Having been at this for more than two decades now, the Red Hot Chili Peppers clearly know how to headline a fest: play the hits, thank the crowd, occasionally swat at a beach ball, exit stage right. Maybe work a few well-placed curse words in there too. These things tend to be the same.
So it's a testament to both their versatility and their dedication that the Chili Peppers' Saturday-night set at the Hangout Festival was anything but by the numbers, as the band jammed long and hard, stretching songs to the breaking point (and beyond), much to the delight of the raucous, sun-baked crowd.

Two major highlights at this year’s event are key masterpieces in the career of Terry Gilliam. 1985’s “Brazil” creates an unforgettable portrait of a dystopian future both amusingly absurdist and unsettlingly provocative. Los Angeles — Anthony Kiedis had a dream the other night.
The 49-year-old frontman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers imagined that he was playing at this year's Rock and Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and the band's on-again, off-again guitarist John Frusciante was sitting in the front row.
Kiedis is quick to note that this vision won't become a reality when the 29-year-old group is actually inducted Saturday.
"No," Kiedis said in a hushed tone during a break from rehearsing at Sir Studios last month. "That was just a dream."
"I can't speak for (Frusciante), but I think it's kinda like an ex-girlfriend vibe," added 49-year-old bassist Flea.
The current line-up of Flea, Kiedis, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer will be honored along with past bandmates like late founding member Hillel Slovak, the original Chili Peppers guitarist who died of a drug overdose in 1988, and Frusciante, who...

American Idol‘s Season 11 Top 12 are set to cover the frequently traversed theme of “Songs From the Year You Were Born” tonight. (Way to cook up new and exciting ideas, Uncle Nigel)! I’m already saying a novena that Jessica Sanchez won’t get stuck in the Thia Megia ghetto (aka singing “Colors Of The Wind”) and that Joshua Ledet won’t be offering up Idol‘s eighth rendition of “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” in 11 seasons. (But, alas, hearing one of those ballads is almost as likely as Jermaine Jones performing nothing at all; read all about that scandalé here!

With the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind around the corner, today's biggest acts recall 1991's other classic albums.
By James Montgomery
In a few short weeks, Nirvana's epochal Nevermind album turns 20, a milestone that will be marked with much coverage, celebration and consternation in the media — and understandably so. After all, it was a game-changer in every sense of the term, the kind of album that brought about seismic shifts in music, fashion and culture in general, one that defined a generation and, as such, deserves to be mythologized. And, in the coming weeks, we suspect you'll see no shortage of stories that do just that.
While Nevermind casts an indelibly lengthy shadow, it bears mention that there were no shortage of other magical, massive and equally mythological albums that hit stores in 1991 — from mega-platinum rock blockbusters to best-kept indie secrets, and just about everything in between — classics that, had Nirvana never broken through,...

The classic rock sounds of The Eagles and Steely Dan are what I grew up on. Other than the occasional Enya or Kenny G album (help me!), my dad was constantly playing me songs from his youth. I recall him putting on “Be True to Your School” by the Beach Boys and commenting that his parents must’ve loved that. I even argued that Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett’s solo in “Fade to Black” was the greatest of all time … until my father proved me wrong by playing Eric Clapton’s guest guitar-work on the Stephen Stills solo tune “Come Back Home,” which remains my favorite solo to this day.
This had me wondering, in 40 year’s time what music from today will be considered classic rock? Here are five rock acts that I think won’t be leaving the radio anytime soon.

When she's not busy on TV, Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford is an avid reader and writer. With her ninth book, The Legend of Messy M'Cheany, debuting this summer, we asked her to pick her favorite novels.
Daytime talk show hosts will sometimes dabble in memoir (see Barbara Walters or Rosie O'Donnell), but the Today show's Kathie Lee Gifford has published a total of nine books in a variety of genres. Her latest is a children's book called The Legend of Messy M'Cheany, about a little boy who can't stay clean.

A year ago, MTV News production assistants Rya Backer and Steven Roberts realized that their devotion to chasing stories was seriously getting in the way of their love lives. That's why they dreamed up "First Date," a regular feature that allows them to get up close and personal to some of our favorite hot new artists.

Tim Midgett and Andy Cohen have turned much of the turbulence of their previous band, Silkworm, into conflicted calm in Bottomless Pit. Blood Under The Bridge, the band’s second album, makes listeners wait to hear all the ragged power that remains in the pair’s songwriting. The opener, “Winterwind.” pleasantly bumps along for nearly seven minutes, as if afraid to press too hard on a tender bruise, and the drum-free “Rhinelander” meditates in circles on how there’s “so much time / there’s no such thing as too much time.” Unlike 2007’s Hammer Of The Gods, Blood takes ...

Rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers are considering taking legal action against British pop star Diana Vickers over similarities between her new track and the band's classic "Under the Bridge", according to U.K. reports. The chart newcomer, who became popular in her native U.K. after starring in Simon Cowell's talent show "The X Factor", recently admitted she had decided against changing the chorus of her new song "My Wicked Heart" - despite writing the record after listening to the rockers' 1992 anthem.
However, the alleged plagiarism has reportedly angered bosses at the band's label Warner Bros., and executives are preparing to launch a lawsuit over copyright issues, according to Britain's The Sun. A source tells the publication, "She has done herself no favors by revealing she listened to the track while writing My Wicked Heart."
A spokesperson from the band's record label has refused to comment.
