Haunted Highway

After getting creeped out by "Dead End", I thought another film about ghosts on the highway might be entertaining. Wrong! There were a few eerie moments here and there, but the acting is so atrocious that you can't ever get engrossed in the story. Particularly bad is the girl portraying "Yumi" who must have been told that speaking in a sing-song baby voice is the key to brilliant characterization. There also seems to be many shots of the guy traveling the same stretch of highway over and over again, even though he's supposed to be going from point A to point B. I saw the same trees and rocks many times, and the trees all seem to be white birches for some inexplicable reason. Not worth the price of the rental. See "Dead End" for a good scare.

This movie is by far one of the most decent low budget film I've seen in a while. The acting might be a little flawed but quality acting cant be expected from a movie that lacks sufficient funds. Basically the whole movie deals with massive hallucinations during a trip taken by the main character. During his trip he is haunted by the ghost of his recently deceased wife and by his lover who seems to know a dark secret of his. The same secret that triggers the trip and eventually leads to a rather unfortunate event. The special effects are well above average and the "scary" parts seem very well crafted. In this movie you will learn that doing the right thing isn't always easy but at least you will live with peace of mind. This movie is completely underrated and Its not been given the credit it deserves. Please watch the movie before you take for granted the negative comments of the film. Thank You!

i just wanted to say we seen the movie and it was the worst movie ever..the actor in the movie should find a different career to work in because he sucked ..he over acted in the film..and the sound effects were terrible..overall i rate this movie a 1 from 1-10...my advice to others is to never rent this movie..you will end up turning it off after 5minutes of watching it.the budget of the movie was really bad and the lighting and makeup was awful..it looked like the actor got punched in the face. i would never recommend this movie to anyone its unbelievably awful..but at least we got a kick out of it laughing our ass's off.

OK so this was the worst movie i had ever seen in my entire life. i actually finished it though. c me and my friends were having a slumber party and i wanted something scary so i picked up haunted highway....bad choice.It was completely a low budget movie had no real actors and there were only 3 main actors and one was this robot talking Asian lady. o my goodness and the ending sucked as well it was just horrible. The movie as a whole would make you consider any other movie you every thought was bad should deserve and Oscar.. but this is just my 2 cent on the worlds worst movie.Take my word for it. And if you really and truly don't believe me then go check it out for yourself i bet you wouldn't even finish it!

I am embarrassed to admit that I wasted 99 cents on this piece of crap! It's awful, around every turn I hoped there would be something thrilling.

There's no 'highway', just a long dark road that just keeps rolling by the camera. It's ridiculous that the speedometer shows at a few times that he was driving 75 mph. THAT IS Ridiculous! I'm sure the Director/Writer of this film didn't intend for the audience to see comedic moments in his 'thriller', but me and my son did get a few laughs out of the film.

The script sucked, the acting sucked, the directing sucked, the sound effects sucked.

The only thing that was haunted about this movie was the haunting feeling that I got from throwing away 99 cents.
