Well, whaddayaknow! Netflix also has a couple of Spaghetti Westerns in their catalog! And, what's even better, they are not the usual classics from Sergio Leone that everyone has already seen hundreds of time! Personally, I love that it's movies like "I'll Sell My Skin Dearly", or "Alive or Preferably Dead" (which is another title I noticed Netflix has). They may not be the best in the genre, but they are obscure and exciting to discover.
"Vendo Cara la Pella" has a plot about blood vengeance that is as simple and straightforward as can be, but that is actually a good thing! No nonsense, no complexity, ... just a lone gunslinger seeking revenge for the cowardly murders of his parents and little sister. The year of release is 1968, and back then the casting requirements for the lead hero were easy. Find a handsome but mysterious macho with eyes as bright blue as possible. Basically, find another Clint Eastwood or Franco Nero but cheaper. Intense shootouts/duels, lovely cinematography (courtesy of Stelvio Massi), pure beauty in the shape of Michèle Girardon, and a sober soundtrack... That's a good Spaghetti Western in my book.

For vengeance, for justice, he doesn't care why he kills or how!. Shane goes off for a blind vendetta . As the whole family of Shane : Mike Marshall , was killed and he is seeking for vengeance . He pulls off a single-handed revenge and killls each person involved in the grisly massacre of his parents and little sister. He is relentless in his vengeance and deadly in his violence. Then, he is wounded and shortly after being healed by a gorgeous young widow , Michele Girardon, and her son . Things go wrong when they are attacked by the nasty enemies.
Thrilling western with crossfire , action, brawls, and breathtaking final showdown between the avenger protagonist and his main enemy. Passable action scenes with rousing shootouts and spectacular duels in Sergio Leone style , containing too , a plot similar to "Shane" by George Stevens, including a little boy shouting : Shane, Shane..... The fleebe starring is an American B actor, Mike Marshall , who hardly ever did cinematic career, neither USA , nor Europe , being known for brief appearances in Moonraker (1979), La grande Vadrouille or Don't look now we're being shot at ¡ (1966) and The Phantom Planet (1961) , he was married to Catherine Prou and died early on June 1, 2005 at 60-year-old . Co-stars the beautiful Michele Girardon who had a brief career starring adventures and dramas as Les amants , Mask of Scaramouche , Soraya princess of desert , Chevalier la rose rouge , among others . Being her greatest success ¨Hatari¨ along with a great cast , including John Wayne , directed by Howard Hawks. Sadly, she early committed suicide , in 1975 , by a love issue . In the support cast appears some Spaghetti familiar faces as Spartaco Conversi, Profumo and Germano Longo.
It contains an acceptable musical score from Enrico Ciacci and Marcello Marrocchi , though it rips off Ennio Morricone from Fistful of dollars and For a fistful of dollars more . Atmospheric cinematography by Stelvio Massi, being extremely necessary a perfect remastering because of the film copy is washed-out . The motion picture was lousily directed by Ettore Fizzaroti. He, firstly , was second unit director or assistant direction , subsequently he turned filmmaker, directing a few and non-successful movies such as : Chimera, Perdono, Donna Rosa, Una lagrima sue viso , Soldati e Capelloni and Mi amor no morira with Al Bano and Romina Power . Rating 4/10. Inferior and low-budgeted Pasta Western .

As I said earlier, a lot of old flicks do appear on flix which isn't normal for them. Films older then 10 year isn't normal.
A revenge western but not a very good one due the fact that there is a lot of love story going on. The score is typical for a spaghetti western and cinematography and score too but it's the love story that there this one down.
Still worth seeing sadly to say the main actress; Michèle Girardon, her career became a flop and aged early 30ies she committed suicide.
Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 1/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0/5.

After the whole family of Shane (Mike Marshall) was murdered, he is seeking revenge. Being merciless in the beginning (he even buries one villain alive!), meeting a beautiful young widow (Michele Girardon) and her son makes him slowly change his mind. His obsession with revenge (the camera just loves to make close-ups of Mike Marshall's steel-blue eyes staring wildly) gradually fades away. Especially when he finds out that one of the villains he has hunted has become a monk because he regretted his deeds. Will Shane be able to forgive?
At first this seems like an average revenge western among a thousand others, but it stands out from the crowd by a slightly more thoughtful attitude of director Fizzarotti, whose only western this is. Revenge isn't just a natural way of life (or rather, death), it is questionable sometimes. Also the movie has an interesting cast. You may recognize one familiar face, Spartaco Conversi, from 'Once Upon A Time In the West' among the bandits, for example. Voted 7/10

(1968) I'll Sell My Skin Dearly/ Vendo cara la pelle
(In Spanish with English subtitles)
SPAGHETTI WESTERN
The Spaghetti Western equivalent of "Shane" that starred Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur and Vane Hefflin. It opens with a land grabber, Ralph Magdalena (Dane Savours) and his three outlaw goons killing a mom, dad and their daughter in cold blood just so he can own their property. The family also happens to have an older and adult son, Shane (Mike Marshall) who was out of town seeking retribution on the landowner and the three outlaws. The first two outlaws who participated were easy especially if one of them happen to be the sheriff around the area. The whereabouts of the third outlaw became a mystery until toward the end.
During his pursuit, some other outlaw from a distance happens to injure Shane on the leg. And by chance he gets taken care of by the attractive single mother, Georgina (Michele Girardon) of a young little boy, Kristian (Valerio Bartoleschi), who has a dog. Besides being in pursuit of the men responsible for the slaughter of Shane's family, Ralph Magdalena also happens to have a right hand man named Benson (Spean Convery)
So and so western with no actual innovative action or gun moments. Watchable and yet cheesy with recognizable scenes from the movie Shane, such as the boy, Kristian and his dog peeking through bar of Shane dealing with Magdalena's right hand man, Benson. And it's main theme of the landowner, Magdalena that is similar to the 1953 version when the landowner intending to kick out farmer, Van Heflin and his family. And if the landowner could not get what he wanted, he would resort to bullying tactics, which is when mysterious stranger Shane shows up.
