Perhaps a little frazzled during a whirlwind promotional tour, Russell Brand took his interview into his own hands on "Morning Joe" on Monday (June 17).
As co-host Mika Brzezinksi and panelists Katty Kay and Brian Shactman awkwardly spoke about the British comedian, he became visibly agitated.
Finally, the 38-year-old star blurted out, "Is this what you all do for a living? These people are, I'm sure, typically very, very good at their job. You're conveying news to the people of America? People of America, we're gonna to be Ok. Everything's alright. These are your trusted anchors."
Later, he pokes fun at the co-host as she held her water bottle, calling her a "shaft grasper" and saying, "You need to lose that ring, Mika, 'cause it don't mean nothing to ya." Check out the entire awkward segment in the video below.

Despite the gruff, inappropriate side of him that he frequently shows the public, Russell Brand is one of the most intelligent comedians around. He took to MSNBC's "Morning Joe" talk show to discuss his new comedy tour "Messiah Complex," but apparently those who were there to speak to him didn't get the memo that Brand is a celebrity to take seriously.
Co-host Mika Brzezinski got the interview off on the wrong foot by making a point of how she has no idea who Brand is. During the rest of the eight minute segment, she and panelists Katty Kay and Brian Shactman proceed to mock Brand's accent, talk about him like he wasn't in the room and call him names like "Willy." Finally Brand seemingly has enough, reprimands the trio for their manners and then showcases how he believes professional news anchors should act.

We only have a few more episodes left in "Glee" Season 4, but of course the show has managed to squeeze in one more tribute episode, this time honoring the music of Stevie Wonder. At least we know that "Wonder-ful" will have some good tunes.
As for the plot ... It probably doesn't have much to do with Stevie Wonder directly. Instead, we meet Artie's mother (guest star Katey Sagal) and see the returns of Mercedes (Amber Riley), Cassandra (Kate Hudson) and Burt Hummel (Mike O'Malley). While Rachel (Lea Michele) gets ready for her "Funny Girl" callbacks, the New Directions prepare for Regionals.
What music can we expect from "Wonder-ful"? Listen to the songs below.
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)" performed by Kitty (Becca Tobin)
"Superstition" performed by Mercedes, Blaine (Darren Criss) and Marley (Melissa Benoist)
"You Are the Sunshine of My Life" performed by Kurt (Chris Colfer)
"I Wish" performed by...
