WWE Hall of Famer and WCW figurehead Eric Bischoff has a career that anyone in the business would beg to have, either on or offscreen. The longevity he's had across multiple companies is virtually unrivaled. Not a lot of people can say their careers outlasted that of WCW after the company went under, but lo and behold, Bischoff is still going strong on television screens today.

In November 2024 the former WCW booker made his WWE return with an appearance on Nxt programming. It's wholly impressive to think that at age 69 with a career spanning 38 years, Bischoff still manages to be relevant. Maybe it shouldn't be surprising knowing everything the man has accomplished over the years.

His book says it best by its title - Controversy Creates Cash - and Eric Bischoff's career is filled with utterly controversial moments that amounted to dollar signs and entertainment.

Lyndon Chubbuck, a director and photographer known for such film as 2001’s “War Bride” and 2000’s “The Right Temptation,” has died. He was 67.

Chubbuck died at his home in Los Angeles on April 13. He was married to prominent acting coach Ivana Chubbuck and was a co-founder of Ivana Chubbuck Studio, which has worked with such notables as Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt and Halle Berry.

Lyndon Chubbuck also served as a partner in advertising agency Andrew Janson & Partners, where he worked on campaigns for Swatch, Paramount Pictures, E!, Sallie Mae and Miller Brewing Company. He was known for his strong social conscience and also worked on creative material for the ACLU, Amnesty International and Salvation Army.

British actor Patrick Macnee, most recognizable to American audiences for playing secret agent John Steed in the 1960s cult-favorite TV series The Avengers, has died of natural causes at age 93.

He briefly reprised his iconic, umbrella sword-wielding role for the short-lived mid-‘70s revival The New Avengers.

Macnee’s post-Avengers TV credits included the title role in ABC’s CIA series Gavilan, the 1989 miniseries Around the World in 80 Days, voicing the opening credits for TV’s original Battlestar Galactica, the CBS drama P.S.I. Luv U, the syndicated action-adventure series Thunder in Paradise and, most recently, a 2001 episode of Frasier.
