Very good story. Very few actors on the screen. No songs and yet this movie is a great suspense thriller. Nanda looks very sexy in this movie. She is vulnerable and voluptuous. Rajesh Khanna is does a different kind of role. Overall a must see. Turn off the lights and enjoy.

It has been 50 years since the movie release and ever since then the movie has held its popularity as a cult classic over the years. The 2019 remake starring Siddharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha is a testament that the plot line is still relevant and still popular.

The movie revolves around a painter - Dilip Roy who has been convicted for the murder of his wife and is on the run from the mental asylum, he takes refuge in a lone house where a women is waiting for her husband who is expected to arrive later in the night. As the night progresses, the chemistry between the fugitive and the female evolves before secrets tumble out of the closet.

Despite multiple reruns, I still get impressed with the chemistry between Rajesh Khanna (Dilip Roy) and Nanda (Mrs. Jagmohan) and how Yash Chopra (the director) managed a script that breaks the stereotype of a murdered and her counter. Full marks to the supporting cast which involve many senior artists that make full use of the meaty plotline. The background score is scary and does full justice to the plot.

This movie which was a suspense filled drama,had an excellent script but the direction ranged from being totally amateurish to one of competence! Rajesh Khanna's acting ranged from extreme over acting to competence. The rest of the cast were average.

The movie goes about that somone was murderd en the story goes about the one who killed the women. The movie has been plays in the living room in one house. Rajesh khanna become mental sick in this movie and act as well excellent.

Rajesh khanna was strong in his rol and nanda was good too. Rajesh khanna was arrested and the put him a crazy house. Om parkash was good as inspector and usefull like sujit kumar.

When you watch this one you will find self out who murderd the women. This movie has no songs, but a good plot and good story and good sypnosis.

If you want this movie buy the moserbear version or the EROS version the are the best out and the print are good too.

Yash chopra did good job with this one heads off.

I give it a 10 because rajesh khanna act good and have given everything out.

This movie can be regarded as suspense and thriller.I liked this movie very much when I watched it about 15 years ago on television.I think to some extend the story is based on the episode "Fog Closing In" of the TV serial Alfred Hitchcock presents.But in case of Hindi movies at that time this story was fresh and thriller.The actor of this movie rajesh kahanna did excellent job as the accused murderer of wife and also nanda's acting was also superb.I think this sort of thriller and suspense movie should be made in bollywood if they want to make good thriller movie.The direction by yash chopra is also superb.If you get chance to watch this movie please don't miss.My vote is 8 out of 10 for this movie.
