Nearly every incident in the picture actually happened to Eric Erickson, American born Swede who was an espionage agent for the Allies during the war . . . Erickson himself, recently in town to help promote the picture, is a tall, lean man with a ruddy complexion, red hair, and a hint of a Texas accent. He once lived in Texas . . . He retired from the oil business several years ago and now divides his time between the French Riviera and his home in Stockholm. He said, "I do nothing--and I do it very well."
