Charley's unlikely bromance.

At breakfast, a wife announces to her husband that she and her daughter are leaving for Bermuda on a vacation....and he's to stay home. Considering she gave him almost no warning, it's pretty awful...but made worse because his mother-in-law is going to stay with him until the wife returns.

Charly is a travel agent who has brought the tickets for the cruise to the family. Now there is no reason for him to stay...but he does and soon gets caught up in the husband's scheme to pretend he's crazy to force his family to stay home. And, during much of the husband's antics get pretty weird....involving Charley.

The comedy short is just okay. This is because the story tries too hard...and subtle it certainly isn't. Some of the gags are a bit funny...most are a bit cringe-worthy. Overall, a one joke comedy that is far from Charley Chase's best work.
