Incident at Montauk

The rating doesn't give it what it deserves, The movie is pretty good for a low budget movie, it's one of the rare films that cares for the Montauk project and what really happened there. I believe it's very daring for the cast to choose such a project to work on. Yet I expected to see more and to encounter more in the story line but I still appreciate the try and the time people put in this one, quite an interesting experience.

Fast forward to at least 20mins in to start with. The guy playing the part has the most boring voice I've ever heard in a movie..... the movie itself think Blair witch but worse omg could it get any worse than Blair witch... yes, this movie.

Soooooooo boring, I was actually going to cancel my Amazon Prime subscription after watching this. The plot is dull, the acting is duller and the "footage" is zzzzzzzzzz sorry fell asleep there again.

Not worth even an hour of your time to view this, go paint a wall and watch it dry or turn off your devices and go bond with your parents or kids.

I don't even want to call it a movie..

This is really bad. Just because you CAN make a found footage/point-of-view flick, doesn't mean that you SHOULD.

This is awful. Amateur hour, almost specifically, time-wise.

How is stuff like this actually streaming? This is ridiculous.

The lead "actor" is inept. He talks in an incredibly monotonous voice. This is Romper Room.

Seriously, this is REALLY, REALLY bad.

My film school student films, were a hundred times better than this.

I have to ask, again, WHY does a streamer even carry this? This looks so incredibly lame.

I am at the fifteen-minute mark, and I am headed out.

How does this even happen?

I wanted to see this "short" movie although I thought it would be terrible. Because a lot of nowadays sf movies have such bad endings. From the start I was caught by it's creepiness. Think you have to watch it with a big screen and surrounding. The build up made me curious and I even start to skip parts so I would know where it would start horrorfying... I don't have that a lot. The end was excellent because the runtime of the movie was "only" one hour and that was for me what made it creepy. Not overdone by too much footage etc. This was "for me"definitely worth an eight ! I also read the review headline "if you have suicidal thoughts please don't watch this". I'm definitely no suicidal and as Clint Eastwood once said in one of his movies "opinions are like assh*les, every body has one".... Gosh would I love to have an autograph of Owen Mulligan on a movie-poster (small one). Just go on making this type of movies. It's a good and pleasant add-on in this world of many strange movies with bad endings (also my opinion).

The premise looks promising but... Horrible, pointless and boring Creepy? 7 or 8 rate for this? Haha, don't make me laugh - above reviews are probably friends of the director I give it a 3, and that's generous I love found footage genre but this one is simply garbage
