Devil May Cry 5

Absolutely Incredible. Huge fan of the series, especially this one. The graphics, characters, story telling, soundtrack, etc. All synced into a masterpiece. I would recommend to any fan of action games with lots of fighting, I also love how the 3 characters have their own unique fighting styles which mixes up the gameplay well. What I love most about the Devil May Cry series is that it's not just about killing demons, but how you kill the demons. Now I'm eagerly waiting for 6th installment.

I didn't think I would like this game but I enjoyed it I remember playing the old ones but the gameplay on this ones way better I love the graphics

This game looks, feels and plays exactly like a Devil May Cry game should, and that alone makes it one of the most fun and entertaining games of 2019.

This game really makes you feel like a devil that may or may not cry/10

Let me ask you this: Have you ever enjoyed playing as Dante-the stylish, cocky, demon-slaying legend of the Devil May Cry franchise? His gameplay is electric, his cutscenes are iconic, and his boss battles are pure adrenaline. But in Devil May Cry 5, Capcom decided to sideline him. Dante is reduced to a cameo protagonist, playable in just a handful of missions (10-13, 16-19). It's a baffling decision for a character who carried the series for four games.

Instead, the campaign is split between Nero and a new character, V-neither of whom live up to the legacy. Nero, once promising in DMC4, feels neutered here. His gameplay is slow, repetitive, and floaty. Devil Breakers are a decent addition, but they don't save him from a broken scoring system and a costume design that looks like he lost a fight with a thrift store.

Then there's V. Controlling his pets instead of fighting directly is a chore. His gameplay lacks impact, and on higher difficulties, it becomes a frustrating slog. Boss fights like Nidhogg and Elder Geryon Knight are sleep-inducing, and his final mission is a gauntlet of recycled bosses with limited tools. His Shakespearean quotes and awkward design don't help either.

Vergil, on the other hand, is a blast. Overpowered? Absolutely. But fun? No doubt. His inclusion in the Special Edition is the saving grace of this game. Playing as him feels like a reward for enduring the rest.

If you're a trophy hunter, Dante and Vergil are your best bet. Nero and V will test your patience and your sanity. I got the platinum, but I'll never touch those two again.

Bottom line: Devil May Cry 5 shines only when it lets you play as its legends. The rest? A stylish disappointment.

I really love Dmc one of my favourite Game Franchises, for me the Best one of the old Games is DMC 3 Dantes Awakening. i really love the Gameplay Style and Everything of the Games. Soo now the 5th has 3 Playble Charakters and Every one of them are really Amazing! V. With his Demons is really cool to play he comands them from a distance to attack the enemy and you just need to evade Enemy attacks. Nero from DMC4 is also here and he has Devil Breaker Arms and there are soo diffrent in effects and style my favourite beeing the Punch Line. But the best too play as becouse of the diffrent Swords and Guns to use and the 4 playstyles you can choose as, its like a dance that you have to master. This Game has the best Gameplay in an Hack n Slash and i recommend you to play it as well! Also if you liked the other Games you will like the Story, but to understand it you need the knowledge of the first 4 Games and dont skip the Credits, if you do so, you will not see the After Credits Scene.
