Sequestro em Miami

I have no clue how some people here give this movie a 8 or even 9 star rating :D The "story" has been told a 100 times (father saves daughter), there's no acting what so ever, the editing and action scenes (if you can call it action scenes, it's slapp stick to me) are not even worthy a B movie. This is just a very terrible movie.

This movie is useful as a study on how not to make a movie. The director should share with us whatever he was smoking when he thought he was directing it.

I was looking at random 90 Day Fiance "stars" that were real "actors" and came across this movie. It is sad that the only person I recognize from the cast of this movie is Tim. That being said he is only in 30 seconds of the movie but still in shock to see the king of Pillow Talk in a real movie. The truth is that the film is average at best, that's probably being nice as it is just your standard run of the mill, low budget action film. I couldn't believe that this film only has 38 ratings and I follow all of Tim's social media pages and have never seen him promote this film once. I may be the only person who actually paid to watch this but I bet you a lot of 90 Day fans like myself would die to see it if they knew Tim was in it. I love Tim and Veronica on PILLOWTALK! They are so funny it is surreal to see him play a serious role!

Terrible. I never stop a movie once I've started. I came very close during this one. Plot was logistically tangible but the acting/directing was tough to watch. The gunfight with corrupt police. The "talent". The "bad guys".... Yuck.

The negative comments by others about the script's leaden dialogue and wooden acting are generally smack on. The plot is quite familiar, having been done so many times. Sex traffickers screw up when one of the gals they snatch turns out to be the daughter of, or otherwise important to, one bad-ass dude who will take on the baddies, no matter how many there are.

Oleg Prudius will never beat out Liam Neeson for a variation on the Taken franchise, but he does have his own impressive "particular set of skills". His Yuri don't say much, but calmly does what heroic daddies gotta do in these flicks. Though born in the Ukraine, he went to college in the US on a sports scholarship, and has spent many years here. That indicates that Yuri's laconic style was a choice, rather than a lack of English fluency. When he's talking, it still ain't great. But the fight scenes, the hulking hero delivers plenty of the satisfying action low-budget mayhem seekers seek.

Perhaps the best feature is that this Ukrainian is kicking the asses of villains from many countries while his former countrymen are doing the same to Putin's invaders. If he's an example of their fighting forces, no wonder they're doing so much better than their foes expected.
