For the love of god, they ended that show with a massive cliffhanger. Why did they even make this one when you already had a great show (universe) ready for revival??!! what the actual...?!
So the premise for this was already pretty well known, let's make a prequel and show what happened when they first found the Stargate.
The whole thing seems like a college project. The acting is amateur, the story is dull and corny. The effects aren't even that good.
To me this looks like one thing and that's a way for them to cash in on a popular franchise.
If your a fan you will watch this anyway and no doubt be disappointed but if your not and just planned watching it anyway then save your time. A real let down, the 2 stars is me being generous and I give it mainly for the music.
I just finished watching the first 3 episodes and this is an disappointment to the Stargate franchice, the CGI is obviously all done by green screen but this obviously looks even worse then the first SG1 episode that came out.
Acting is terrible, the story is terrible and just everything about this is terrible..
I will of course watch the rest of the episodes no matter how bad they are just because it's Stargate but this is just bad, even what we learned from SG1 from what happened before means nothing here and it seems the storyline here will just go random from here on.
Sorry for being this salty but this is just bad..

- CuriosidadesKelly Vint Castro (American Agent) previously played the young Catherine Langford in Stargate: A Chave para o Futuro da Humanidade (1994).
- Erros de gravaçãoCatherine goes from not being able to speak at all with the natives on the planet to being almost fluent at it couple episodes later. Even assuming that she's a fast learner it's questionable that she has any previous knowledge of ancient Egyptian languages, otherwise she would have understood at least some words when first talking to Kasuf. However, Daniel experienced the same effect in the first movie. It was because the vowels were pronounced differently than he realized. It was a language nobody had spoken in over 2000 years.

Captain James Beal: What is it, Cat?
Catherine Langford: We still don't know.
Captain James Beal: Metal?
Catherine Langford: Most archaeological finds from this periods are stone, but not this one. My father believes it's melted meteorite.
Captain James Beal: Ten years of research and you're still not sure.
Catherine Langford: These things take time. And no more money means no more research. Not here, at least.
Captain James Beal: Well, I'm grateful for the mystery.Otherwise, our chance encounter at the market may have never come to pass.
Catherine Langford: That would have been tragic.
