Murderers and Their Mothers

Why I sought out this series was for an understanding of how these murderers' lives & upbringing may be different from a normal persons & may have contributed to how they developed such a disregard for human life & a desire to kill. There is evidence that a person's mother plays a significant role in one's perception & how one adjusts to life (especially in regards to serial killers), but just as important is the father. While the main focus here is on the mother; there are hints to the father being a damaging affect on the person as well. The result though, is that naturally the child develops an unnatural attachment to the mother & suffers a rejection by the father. Let's not underemphasize the significance of this by arguing that "the mother's aren't to blame". Of course no mother is taught how to mother, even so, they will affect their child & it's important to see how mother's may have behaved in these cases.

The show identifies a psychopathic criminal and then tries to blame the mother of the criminal; e.g., in the first episode the parents divorced and that allegedly caused him to be a sadistic psychopath. That would make over 60% of people in America sadistic psychopaths. Children, teenagers, and adults do not do as their/our mothers want us to do.

This show is just another way to blame women for the crimes of men.

Someone please strip the psychologist in the Adam Lanza story of her credentials. Special education is not a "stigma." Do not blame what he did because he had developmental delays And do not blame his mother. Wtf.

Disappointing, flimsy reasoning behind conclusion, and bad journalism. It looks like the writer decided on something and made all the information fit into it. I found it tedious to watch due to the lack of connection between logic and conclusion. There's no clear train of thought that leads to a sound conclusion of what is being claimed.
